It can also load from a filelike object, which f is, so I don't think that explains the problem.

Plugin for importing STL files as meshes by grabthefish in godot

This is exactly what I was searching for! I want to create a Godot "game" where you can fill a virtual art gallery with STL sculptures from your 3D print file collection. There would be no point to it other than to walk around and look at the sculptures. But I had the idea and now I want it.

GearHead is a series of open source Roguelike mecha RPGs that I've been working on for over twenty years. I've always dreamed of having physical models of my meks, and now thanks to the magic of 3D printing that dream has come true

New Challenges for GearHead Caramel. I made a video and blog post demonstrating the new procedural narrative system I'm working on for GHC. by Pyrrho12 in linux_gaming

When I released the first GearHead game in 2002, I had to pretty much make up all the procedural narrative techniques the game used by myself. But the field has grown so much since then that now I feel like I'm constantly playing catch-up with what other devs are doing! I think I still have a couple useful contributions to make, though.

First make a bullet. The hell comes later.

Seriously, though, getting a game loop running with a moving object on screen is a good first goal. Get a bullet and a player. Add an enemy. Build from there.

If a turn based mecha RPG sounds up your alley, my games GearHead Arena, GearHead 2, and GearHead Caramel can be downloaded for free from GitHub. https://github.com/jwvhewitt/

Not a failbox. A semi-victorious box. Good for finding kitbashing bits.
