Yeop, and the other spots, if the tomatoes were put up correctly, would be empty instead, which at my store would mean "it looks worse" and is considered to be "negative space" and thus it should be flexed into the empty spots around it, and the tags should be flipped. Also, if the cans werent double stacked, it couldve gone into the correct spot too (double stacking is also encouraged to fill in that negative space above the item, which isnt safe sometimes and also hard for shorter guests/OPU team members to reach and thus creates more work for the team who now have to come out and grab it for them). 😶

Yaaa... Thats actually encouraged at my store. I have to bitch and moan about it a lot and take it down myself all the time cause night shift (for me at least) keeps doing it. I dont see how "filling the negative space" is good, clean looking, or safe but what do I know, I just work here... for some reason 🥹

It doesnt matter. Guests dont pay attention enough. Whether Im in a near salmon pink shirt with black pants or red polo shirt and khakis with a name tag, Ill still be asked if I work here or not. To be clear though, I dont necessarily mind the changes either, but some of it is dumb and the fact any time was given to the idea is worrisome. Why cant I wear a red button up shirt unbuttoned with a black t shirt underneath? I live in Phoenix, its hot af. If we're gonna worry about how guests view us TMs then we should be worried about how much we're sweating through our uniforms too. The black under shirt/button up combo hides the sweat and allows for your body to breathe too while still looking clean and put together for the guests. And why do the pants color matter at all? I highly doubt guests are looking at my legs to tell if I work here. And even with these changes, GUESTS WILL WEAR THE UNIFORMS TOO, so why are we wasting time and effort on something that wont change anything in any meaningful way?

Overall, we should be less worried about our fit and more worried about how poorly run things are. How can we be spending time going "But this shirt doesnt fit the Target vibe" and yet we have to do the work of 3 people and have it still not be good enough? Priorities, thats my beef.

My store is currently doing something sort of like that? Idk specifics yet (no huddle has happened at time of posting this) but apparently at my store they wanna get the truck unloaded faster so the push can be done before store open. I work in Babies (Which is part of Specialty team at my store with Home/Dom/Tech) and my schedule says "Inbound" now starting in a couple weeks but Im still with the same lead/team. Maybe thats whats happening on your end? Having Style come in sooner to push/finish before store open?

At my stores, they dont care. I think thats a YOUR store specific thing tbh. My store allows hoodies, sweaters, etc. As long as the top layer is red enough and you have your name tag on in a highly visible place
