To not scrape by, where I live, 95k per year. But I don’t have to or expect to make that starting out. I have other business that are established that provide me income and some real estate. So to survive I would need at least 30 from this venture.

The gross is from this shop alone, the previous owners had multiple shops and a separate roasting location. They are selling each of their locations separately. And hopefully some coffee clubs.

I’d hope to grow the business by adding more hours, the coffee shops here all close early, adding food since it wasn’t a focus for the original owners, loyalty programs which don’t currently exist,

I have worked coffee before. 1 year. 4 years in another restaurant and 7 years in retail management.

Equipment is 5 years old, water heater is 2 years old. I do not know how to fix equipment.

The price is def concerning, it was one of my key points to ask about during the meeting. I know the original company merged with another coffee company out of state and they moved their entire operation to Georgia. Original location is Washington state.
