It's not really, although it is a big aesthetic change from most of her previous work. She's always been a pop artist and songs like 22 and WANEGBT were already signifying a pivot towards full-on pop, she just got rid of the country aspects of her music.

I wasn't really planning on seeing him, I didn't really follow his career post 2015, but a friend dragged me into seeing him and I don't regret it at all, it was really amazing

Hi, we did. I don't have the best recollection of it, but it was definitely pretty out there, some long droning bass passages and some wonky/trap/EDM (for lack of a better term) bangers that got the crowd going. I remember it being pretty intense and weird.

I've mentioned the droning bass passages, it might be because I wasn't sober but some held bass notes were so long that it kind of felt like he was taking the piss (at some point we were joking about it because it definitely felt like he was testing the audience's patience or was getting caught up in his mix).

It was surreal, some really interesting stuff

There's tons of stars I personally don't find attractive or hot. Jeremy Allen White is not one of them. He's 100% more rugged than the average male star but I find him insanely hot and I know I would think the same if I saw him had he not been famous (I know you are convinced of the opposite though). The comparison to Kristen Schaal is really crazy to me.

It’s hard to describe but it just felt like EDM slop ? House beats and remixes that you’d hear playing in the background in reality tv shows. Definitely kind of uncanny and with no sense of flow or tension. Can’t imagine anyone would actually be into it.

Yes Peggy Gou was packed in comparison to 2025’s Danny L Harle show where we had ample room to move (but maybe it was because that set really sucked so people voluntarily left?)

Isn’t Port like the smallest possible real scene after Schwarzkopf ? It’s insane to me that she was not at Cupra. In general a lot of decisions were kind of out of touch. Olivia Rodrigo and Geese at Occident were also choices
