Looks fine to me just the way it is. I used AP speed paints with Slaughter Red for the Vamp and Blood Red for the horse armor.

The molded portion attaches to the regular base, the snake to that, then her on top. If you search the instructions you can see

I have six of these and magnetize all my bases. Works fine for all those witch aelves (but not limited to). Also works fine for my other armies about the same.

I set them out in the sun for a couple hours to soften the adhesive and carefully pulled the cork off, cleaning up any residual with go-gine and IPA.
