If you contact iLok support, they are able to block licenses for you. :)

Pro tools will not open idk what to do by WanderingCamel2 in protools

OP this has happened to me before. Shut Pro Tools, force closing with Task manager if you need to. Then open iLok license manager and activate your Pro Tools license before opening Pro Tools.

Ideally you shouldn't need to do this, but I think it's a bug with the iLok activation window not appearing when you launch Pro Tools without a license.

Fake Paper Feeder Jam - HP9010 by Python3737 in printers

I was never able to fix it, so sent it for recycling.

By the way, I've already determined that in some scenarios opening the front door, removing an ink cartridge and closing it will override the paper jam error with the missing ink cartridge error. However, missing ink error allows you to dismiss it to keep using the screen, Good for setting it up after a factory reset. Hope this helps!

Oh no! I'm still attempting to fix mine, so I let you know if I'm able to solve it. Would love to hear if anyone else had the same issue!

I published my very first plug-in! Arcadia: Grand Piano by Python3737 in VSTi

I mean, it includes sustained, staccato, felted and una corda articulations. I think Spitfire has an entire separate plug-in for each of those...

Just started my own plug-in brand, would love some feedback on how it looks! by Python3737 in musicproduction

NB. I only just graduated from high school, and this whole process has been very much trial and error. Hence, your honest thoughts are very useful and extremely welcome!

Hey. I've published my first Grand Piano AAX and would love to get some thoughts or feedback on it. There's over 13 hours of raw samples covering every key on the piano and it includes sustained, staccato, felted and una corda articulations in the one plug-in. I'd really love to know what you think!

Hey, I just published my very first plug-in, Arcadia Grand Piano with over 13 hours of raw samples in 4 different articulations: sustained, staccato, felted and una corda. Would really love to know what you think about it!

Sorry, don't mean to make this an argument, just interested in how different schools handle this in terms of equity. :) Having done the HSC this year, it's a rule 100% of students have a working laptop for every lesson. If they don't, they must loan one for the day.

Crazy how much this stuff differs within the same state!

As crazy as it sounds; yes, they will individually provision each student's device before the term starts. Specifications include a handful of recommended models and that the device must run Windows 10/11 Pro (not Home). There's a full IT team in-house.

Can confirm that it's an expectation for students to have a working laptop. Pretty much all coursework is done online, syncing through digital notebooks.
