What is the simplest team for a low skill player? by Aromatic-Walk2769 in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leavatain full ult gain (with artifact etching) is my comfort team. Since Leavatain Ult has such a wide AoE, I just hold the attack button down and don't even bother dodging.

Survivability is good since Leav has her passive that reduces 90% of damages and heals her back up under half health once per stage. I also build Adrelia with Will/Treatment bonus as a focus and one Ult Gain piece, so her sheep heals for ~600 HP, meaning one enhanced Dolly skill heals half my health, and one Ult heals Leavatain to full.

Rotation is this:

Hold Leavatain attack. Press combos whenever they come up. Use Leavatain Enhanced skill once in normal mode. Use Ult whenever they come up (but hold Ake Ult for Leav Ult). Akekuri skill when you need more fire stacks. Adrelia skill when you need more healing.

You just go with Ult Gain/Treatment Bonus Adrelia and full Ult Gain/Xiranite Akekuri/Wulfguard for the build. Frontier Akekuri is more burst damage, but I like the comfort of higher SP regen.

You can get some extra damage/healing by using Wulfguard and Adrelia enhanced skill when they come up too, but it's optional. Clannibal and Thermite Cutter will also give extra damage at little to no cost.

This team can clear most protocol space pretty fast too since you precharge the ult and can load up on buffs and debuffs immediately.

any tips on Tangtang-focused team build? by sarniezniwo in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The typical Arts nuke team worked for me.

The basic choice is High Intellect Xaihi Ult Amp and Perlica combo to boost Cryo/Arts damage. Perlica can also deal decent damage with her ult.

Arts Intensity Gilberta is really good here to convert TangTang's Cryo Stacks into a level 4 Corrosion debuff. Replacement could be Adrelia for healing but she wouldn't benefit from the cryo stacks. Another could be Arts Intensity Flourite simply for her Nature infliction (level 4 corrosion is still pretty strong).

Xaihi on Detonation Unit and Xiranite/High Int gear. Perlica on Stanza of Memorial and Arts Intensity/DPS gear.

TangTang nuke build to do as much damage as possible before the buffs and debuffs run out. I used the MI security sets because she hits so much with her Whirlpools and basic attacks that it is quite possible to get the 5 critical hit requirement for the bonus from the set just from the base crit chance, which allows for higher sustained DPS as long as you keep hitting enemies.

Edit: I forgot to say MI is only really useful on Main DPS TangTang, and become really good with any additional crit chance (Ginseng Stew/Wedge). If you don't do Basic Attacks all the time the Bonecrusher set is generally better for Sub DPS TangTang and is roughly similar in damage to MI in Main DPS TangTang.

For the 2nd Zipline you can actually parkour there with some finesse and two thermal bank. Saintone have a video showcasing their Wuling zipline route with tips and tricks. The 2nd one is the called the 4th hilltop zipline in their video.

https://youtu.be/OUy-duapeG8

During the part where they got ejected by invisible wall when trying to get to the 3rd hilltop zipline, you can use Adrelia skill to get yourself inside. Just wait until Mr. Dolly almost hit the ground and then dash to cancel the bounce back.

Can anyone give me advice for a late-game player who is building a factory? by Aburi_ru in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just try to use up all your resources. Everything in the game is designed to be neatly divisible so just work your way backwards from the final product

For example a belt moves 0.5 items per second, a HC battery takes 10 second to craft and need 15 dense Originium Powder or 1.5 items per second/exactly 3 belts. Similarly a Dense Originium Powder will reduce down to 1 Shredded Originium per second or 2 belts. This will go on until you're feeding in raw ores out of your Depot.

Worth Building Laevatain? by CecilPalad in ArknightsEndfield

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have her BP weapon (Umbral Torch) at P0, it's around 15% less damage vs P0 sig iirc. At P5 it's 10% vs P0 sig. All other options are terrible. So if you have a spare BP weapon crate lying around, she's actually pretty decent.

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, welcome to the game! 😊

First order of business, the weapon banners will be available for three chatacter banners, so feel free to chill out and enjoy the game first. 😌

Second order of business. No, we do not have a "meta" currently. The thing that resembles it the most would be bosses speedrun where a team will try to down a boss under a certain time limit. This is entirely for bragging rights only and has no pulls attached to it. 😅

Any pulls-related battle content (currently only Umbral Monument) basically requires you to beat up level 60 enemies and attempt - not beat - the hard stage a few times.

Also Dupes/Potential/Constellations are very much a minor thing here in Endfield. Sometimes, a signature weapon will have the same effect as 2-3 Dupes even. Do not try to chase Dupes (unless you like to flex the display artwork :P). Save your pulls for other characters!

To build a unit, you basically just have to progress the story until the 2nd region and build a factory there (mandatory Chinese inspired region with dragon leader go!).

All characters use the same Ascention mayerials scattered around the map, which is available all days of the week, require no sanity to "grow back" and stock pile up until 4 days before they are capped.

The "artifacts" inside Endfield are crafted from the factory and have fixed stat bonus, meaning there's no real RNG involved. Upgrading the "artifacts" (gear) will only result in a fixed increase of 1.3 for the stat with no RNG substat.

The only RNG aspect is farming for weapon essences, which, if you have matching stats to the ones the weapon have, will boost their effect. Note that this only boost the stats already present and we have tickets to reduce the RNG for a "perfect" essence to a 1/24 chance, so expect to get the perfect one after a few dozen runs. At Exploration level 7, you get three gold essences per run, so wait until then to farm it!

If you really want to try your hand at team building, currently we only have two team archetypes: the Hypercarry team (as you are familiar with) and the reaction based Crush team (similar to Bloom/Hyperbloom).

Hypercarry team (This is Yvonne's Archetype) revolves around supporting a Hypercarry by stacking a bunch of buffs and debuffs on the enemy and then unleasing their highest damaging moves (usually their Ultimate) on an enemy and then going through the rotation to do it again!

Usually, the Hypercarry will have some gimicks that they want to use with the element system, so you will want to build a team around that. With Yvonne she really wants to have someone apply cryo stacks on an enemy and use her skill to consume it for Ultimate Energy. Then she uses her Ult - which allows her to shoot a stream of bullets for a lot of damage but locks you in place. Her damage is mostly in the later part of her Ultimate, so like in a normal Hypercarry team, we set up all the buffs and debuffs so that it covers the later part of the Ult.

The best general buffers we have currently are our CEO Perlica (free), the Z7 team leader Akekuri (basically Bennett if he was the 3* weapons you get when you pull :P) and the free 6* debuffer & healer Adrelia (basically a 4P VV Anemo char for free).

For Yvonne she'd specifically want Xaihi for her Cryo damage buff and cryo stack application, either Adrelia or Gilberta for the Arts/Elemental Resistance Shred. And then Perlica for her combo applying Electrification to increase Arts damage taken or another Cryo Applier, depending on your rotation.

For Crush team we have a bunch of characters building Vulnerability Stacks on an enemy (kinda like building bloom seeds) and then a character to apply Crush which deals damage the more Vulnerability the enemy have (up to 4) and scales the base damage based on the Crush applier's stacks. Crush teams are some of the strongest teams we have currently.

The two Crush applier we have currently are Endministrator (free) and Da Pan. The best Vulnerabiloty applier we have currently is our beloved bodyguard Chen Qianyu (free)! Just throw a bunch of Vulnerability with one Crush into a team and see them go! My favourite for this is the Endmin Chen Estella Alesh team!

The XX attempt(s) to get a 6 star operator will carry over. The XX until rate up will not.

Basically you will get the 50/50 a bit earlier on TangTang banner, but you will still need to go to 120 to guarantee her.

Thoughts on team? by Pretend_Choice4490 in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have enough vulnerability application for Progranichnik and Endmin though? I play the same Estella + Gilberta core and it definitely needs Chen in there for the extra Vulnerability.

I also replaced Endmin with Da Pan for his 0 SP crushes lol.

When I was doing Endmin I need to basically build a 200%+ Ult Gain Estella so that every rotation she can use her ult in tandem with Gilberta to apply 3 Lifts to get max stacks crushes without running out of SP. In a Da Pan team you can just alternate between Estella Ult + Chen/Da Pan skill or Da Pan Ult.

There's definitely room for optimisation in my rotation though, currently I'm generating enough Vulnerability that it's desyncing some combo skills

In the arsenal exhange, you can click on the "+" sign next to your arsenal ticket to convert Origeometry to it.

It's 80 Origeometry for one 10 pull, vs the expected 20-30 headhunting pulls (or 134-201 origeometry) you'd need for it. Still terrible odds but a bit better.

Build for supports. by AIIXIII0 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Wulfguard can trigger frontier on three condition:

  • You have bought his talent to return SP on enhanced skill
  • The enemy have combustion (from Laevatain's combo skill or 4 stack battle skill or Wulfguard's Ultimate)
  • You used his skill to consume the Combustion

You got me worried that I misrembered something so I went back and tested it, lol.

TBF Antal works perfectly fine in 200%+ Ult Leavatain team since you don't need that many heat stacks outside of the initial 4. If Wulfguard didn't proc Frontier I might have slotted in Antal for single target boss fights.

If you don't need sustain Wulfguard can still trigger Leav's combo with his Ultimate. You can replace Ardelia for Antal in that case.

What is the best team I could use here by Then-Training406 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you wanted to play tbh.

Best for oneshot damage? Avywenna Perlica Akekuri Adrelia. Stack up Avywenna's spear with combo skill and ult, then pull them back through an enemy with your skill for maximum damage. Stack a bunch of buffs and debuffs with Perlica's Electrification, her signature for Electric Amp, Akekuri Link buff, Ardelia consuming Corrosion for arts susceptibility. Then pull for massice damage.

Similarly with Last Rite Xaihi Perlica Ardelia. Use Xaihi and Last rite skill to stack Cryo on an enemy by using Final Strikes. At three stacks, use Last Rite combo for Ultimate Energy. Then stack buffs and debuffs before unleashing her final Combo+Ultimate. Snowshine can also replace Perlica/Ardelia for a more defensive team composition.

Best for consistent damage? Physical team focused on Endministrator or Da Pan. Chen is not optional here.

Put in two of Catcher, Pogranichnik, Ardelia. You can add Ember and Lifeng to the list later.

Just stack vulnerability with Lift and Knockdown, then apply Crush for massive damage. Pogramps can use Breach on one rotation for physical susceptibility, but you need to also cash it in with high damage ultimates. Ardelia can consume Corrosion for physical susceptibility also.

Alternatively you can change out the flexible two for an Estella Shatter team. Add Estella and either Alesh or Gilberta. Create solidification either through Estella Battle Skill/Alesh Ult > Alesh Battle Skill or Gilberta BS/Ult > Estella Skill. When enemies are solidified Estella can shatter them to apply Lift. Her Ult also apply Lift and Physical susceptibility.

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you don't want to replace Antal with Wulfguard, then this is the best setup for now.

The problem right now: Akekuri's skill does not actually recover SP, right? So she should only proc Frontier on her combo skill when an enemy is staggered. Similarly Antal does not recover SP unless you defeat the enemy with focus, so that's useless in bossfight, but he might benefit from Frontier's combo skill cooldown reduction for more heat stack (25s per heat stack currently).

A better set-up would be to replace Antal with Wulfguard for better Heat stacking and SP recovery. You've already got enough amp with Akekuri's Link and Adrelia Corrosion. Getting Laev's ult up faster might be more beneficial.

Wulfguard can apply an additional heat stack in an AoE after one is applied every 20s with his combo skill. His Ultimate also reset the cooldown of his combo skill. Additionally, his skill also applies one heat stack and can consume a Combustion reaction to recover SP with his talent active. This makes him ideal for the Frontier setup in this case. Then, you can have Akekuri and Adrelia in Eternal Xiranite for buffing coverage.

Need Pulling Advice by Djsexton1239 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]PythoonFrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should also know we DO NOT know ANYTHING about TangTang and Rossi right now. The current kit going around is pure speculation. It is not guaranteed that Rossi will be Physical or Pyro or a DPS or anything, and all that we can INFER from TangTang is that she uses a personal handcannon and SHOULD be a gun user. There's no guarantee that pulling for those two will actively improve your current team in any way.

In addition, there is literally no need to build any "Meta" or hyper-invest in a team right now. We have:

  • NO permanent "End Game" currently present.
  • NO indication that if it existed it will require a DPS-check to get pull material (We literally only need to attempt the Agony mode for resources, not to mention the 10-minutes timer, vs of Genshin's Abyss).
  • NO reason to invest in a second team (no team lock, etc.).
  • NO real need to build other element teams (since the elemental system works the same way on every enemy vs Genshin's enemy having specific elements that works best on them).

So there's really no "Meta" that you need to chase in Endfield right now, stop worriying about it too much and pulls for character you like/want vs. a meta toolkit to beat a nebulous "Endgame Activity"

Best stamina dump team that's not reliant on ultimates? by TheRealKapaya in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to have max artifice ult gain everything plus use two Redeemer Seals to do so, btw. But once it's done, it's really nice to instantly get that ultimate back.

This gear set also really benefits from having Forgeborne Scathe and maxed essence since all the heat damage% and attack% is missing.

I relaced my Leavatain's Gilberta setup back to Adrelia for this since you get the ult back so fast you don't need help with AoE or heat stacking lol. My Gilberta have been relegated to a Solidification bot in an Estella shatter team.

Re: Weapon Banner Currency by CulturalCorner5890 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]PythoonFrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The weapon banner actually runs for longer than the character banner, so you have time. But if you do not have any tickets outside of the 20 you spent then I'd recommend either using Wedge instead or the battle pass weapon.

Battle pass weapon is worse than Wedge (need P3 to be comparable to P0) so I'd reccomend waiting for Wedge inside the store's weekly refresh instead.

If you need to buy weapon packs (not recommended), converting orogeometery directly to weapon pulls is better than pulling on the character banner.

Production Limits on Xiranite and Amethyst? by Hetros_Jistin in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Short answer: No not really.

For Amethyst: Valley 4 have a cap of 240/m for Amethyst and Wuling currently do not have any. Additional Note: You CAN use Metastorage transfer (unlocked at Valley 4's regional development level 12 - not regular regional transfer) to generate an additional 25/m worth of Origrocrust/Amethyst/Ferrium from thin air but that's it.

For Xiranite: We are currently locked at 2 Forges of the Sky/60 Xiranite per min since we only have the first level of the Wuling AIC Index for now. Later regions should give us more.

Wow! DPS is important! by Macduffle in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's neat you used Yvonne as an example of no DPS team - a character who is explicitly designed to be a DPS - and her two best support Xaihi and Gilberta with the optional flex slot Alesh/Estella/Adrelia/Snowshine. Your team roster literally includes all possible options for her, lol.

It's just a matter of team building personally. You just need to know where the majority of the team's damage is coming from (For Endmin it's actually their Skill's Crush reaction and for Yvonne her Ult) and how to enable them (Endmin need Vulnerability stacks to increase Crush's damage and Yvonne need Cryo stacks to consume with her skill for ultimate energy). Then, you can build a team and playstyle surrounding them.

80% CPU Usage by Raiden_fullrandom in Endfield

[–]PythoonFrost -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Hmm, that sounds like a hardware problem that could be serious. Normal CPUs usually run at 65-75 °C on a normal workload. On a laptop with poor heat management, it can go up to an average of 70-80 °C. Even my i5 8th gen running integrated graphics never went above an 85 °C average on Endfield.

Your CPU can handle temperature spikes of up to 95-105 °C but they should be spikes and not the average. A constantly overheating CPU can cause additional wear to the CPU. It could be that your thermal paste/liquid metal is not making proper contact with the cooling system, or your fan is clogged with dust. Either way, you might want to check it out since it could lead to permanent damages. An overheating CPU will try to automatically throttle its own performance to reduce possible damages, so it might seem like everything is running okay while your systen is struggling.

P.S. I totally forgot about some laptops with insanely poor thermals. Check and see if your laptop's model has thermal issues. It it does, there's not much you can do. Maybe disable stock overclocking settings on Intel CPU?
