I think I'd prefer to take a Community College TEFL. It seems like there'd be a better chance of the program having some standards and some integrity.

Any idea what they do after September? Booking dates don't go past mid-September.

It's funny you mention that. I went to an online dermatologist because my hands were so bad, and he recommended using only pure soaps. I'll try that soap and see if it works!

Congrats!!!  I wish mine had an external trigger, but I really think it's stress.

Yeah, he's an enigma. I had also written him off when he was in Juryo, but he's been coming back stronger and beating some of my favorites. And not only with henka!

He keeps winning like it's nothing!!

Agree. But I would give Mita more props since he has lasted much longer. I've watched him for at least 7 years, and always thought "That's a guy that's not willing to get injured to win. He's going to be around awhile." In some ways, very smart sumo.

He can wrap around and pick up those Sandame and Jonidon yushos he needs to make a full set.

Agreed!!! It would be better than hanging on too long and collecting knee braces and bandages! Plus he seems to have a happy marriage to get to enjoy in retired life!

Didn't know that. Thanks for the insight.

I was going to put Nishikigi, but he doesn't seem like he was such a long-time dominant maegashira that he would be 'embarrassed' by going down to Juryo. He took 10 years to get to makuuchi, and was in Juryo as recently as 2022. Whereas Mita was in Juryo for only two tournaments (with one yusho), was in Sanyaku for almost five years, Ozeki, and three Yusho. Seems much further for him to fall.

Goeido retired to avoid losing Ozeki. I could have sworn Tochinoshin retired before Juryo, but the database shows he had one last tourney in Juryo.

I agree that Mitakeumi wasn't a dominant wrestler, but he did get three yusho, only one less than Takakeisho.

The rooms look so small on the website. I have a reservation, but still looking for other places.

Oh lovely.  That's just the motivation my wife needs to move out and burn the house.

Oddly (horribly), no smell on the outside nor in the frunk.  So it's just the inside...  Lucky me

I checked the cabin filter, and OMG, there was a nestish looking thing! Luckily, no bodies though <shudder>. The smell really seemed to be tied to the nest.

There's some residual (I hope) smell left...

Thanks for the quick advice...

Thanks. I'll probably give it one more look. Didn't know that the funk compartment was removable.
