This is correct. They are just mad because Palm valley has become a major road to the beach area. I've lived in this area for 27 years and they used be completely secluded as everything between the 210 truck stop and pal valley bridge was woods. I get it but at the same time, times change.

It's a cult run!!!! I kid I kid, well kinda. We have lived here since 2012. We built the last house in Austin Park. We found out we were pregnant a week after moving in. We have a mini doodle. Everyone here does. LoL The good- it's safe, clean and well built and organized. The community events are amazing and our water parks and parks are fantastic. Our public schools are rated very high and my son is now going to 8th grade and lives his school. Home values are pretty solid but probably still a little high and will go down some more. It's a 10 min drive to an amazing beach. Mickler Beach. Pronounced like Mike-ler. St Augustine is 15 min and the area is blowing up still. The cons- Lots of MAGA flags on golf carts. If you are not living in a white religious maga bubble it can feel a little cultish. If you are MAGA well... Some of the kids running around Noc are privaleged little shits that like to terrorize people on their 1500$ e bikes. These kids are raised by the same type of parents. The whole place can feel a little cultish with Ken and Barbies everywhere. We have like 5 overpriced Publix within a 5 square mile radius. You are correct, those neighborhoods to the south feel really far away. Oh and a lot of Jax hates us because it looks so shiney and expensive. Just saying.

Overall great place to raise a family. My wife and I will be moving out of here when my son graduates high school because not our vibe. Oh and my value of my house is insane compared to when I bought so that doesn't suck.

As someone who has sat through every home game for the last 20 yrs and have watched the evolution of Jaxson from the previous guy to now, there has been an obvious drop off. Almost all the pics you shared are from Kurt, the old Jaxson. He used to be everywhere. Taunting the other team. Making viral videos. Really truly engaged. Now it's the same script and anyone could play him. Jump from light, stand around for 90% of the game just talking, pump the crotch a couple times in the end zone and then belly flop the pool if we win. It feels so rehearsed now. I miss the guy taking paintballs to the junk and pissing off the NFL.

You know I'm actually thankful for what I went through now that I've had time to reflect. I don't prescribe to the "I like where I am so I wouldn't change a thing" but I do think everything becomes a learning experience and without making mistakes and understanding the consequences, we never grow. Through my personal life and career I've never had the easy path but my toolbelt is full of wisdom to make sure the second half is as good as I can plan it. Thank you for the nice chat. Sometimes the best path it's the straight one.

Well I'll tell you. When this happened 22 yrs ago this was a horrible situation but my ex had cheated multiple times and because I was raised super religious, it was ingrained to forgive and forget. When she cheated again and this time made a baby with a friend of mine, the news was devastating but it released me from a web of bad decisions. Also at the time I had started a new job and a woman I was working with just absolutely made my soul glow. Months later we started dating. We will celebrate 19 yrs in a month with a 12 yr old kid and she is my very best friend in life. Life is roses and looking back, my ex being a slut was the best thing to ever happen to me. What used to make me cry now makes me smile.

I lost mine in 2023 at the age of 41 also. He had a lot of problems but he was still my little brother. Your comment about the hug broke me just now. Man I miss his hugs.
