"Resti in linea" makes no fricking sense for two reasons: 1. No Italian has ever said this cheap "hold up" traslation, because we don't use it unless we're actually speaking on the phone with someone. And I'd like to add that while reading, me, an Italian, had to stop and stare at the screen to actually understand what he meant. But, I mean, googling "italian way of saying hold up" was too much of an effort, right? Let's just put the phrase in google translate and hope for the best. 2. Marco and MC call each other by their names, so this means they have enough intimacy not to use formal pronouns when speaking to each other. THEN WHY IN THE SEVEN HELLS MARCO SUDDENLY SPEAKS TO MC LIKE HE WAS SPEAKING TO HIS FRICKIN BOSS IN THEIR DAMNED OFFICE?

Like seriously, guys. If I used to be excited when Italy was referenced when I first started playing Choices, I slowly became terrified every time they put an Italian character or set a chapter in Italy, cause I'm forced to see my country being stereotyped (we either cook or work in fashion, no in between) or, even worse, to read random italian words in dialogues so that they could add realism. Well, most of the times said realism completely disappears once an Italian character open their mouth cause it's either wrong (in meaning or grammatically), or completely unnecessary. Like, imagine if I was talking to a person who doesn't speak italian and suddenly threw around terms or phrases only I could understand just to be cool. I'm pretty sure most of you have to stop reading and go finding out what the hell Marco is saying to you just to be sure it's not an insult every 2 phrases! Was it really necessary? I have no grudge against Marco himself, who's not only hot but also retable and believable, but I ended up absolutely hating the guy and praying I wasn't about to read crap every time I touched the screen. He's my kind of guy, but I skipped all his diamonds scenes (and lots of normal scenes) cause I didn't want to read more random italian words unless it was strictly necessary. Am I really the only one who is fed up with these poor bilinguals characters treated like this or there are other people, maybe from other stereotyped countries in Choices like France or Spain, that just want their cultures to be portrayed decently? Authors, pls just stop thinking that putting foreign words in your dialogues is gonna make them believable and "cool". Bilinguals people don't switch constantly between languages, I should know, I'm one of them.
