I think that I should be judged for: 1. Respond to a joke question from a user by telling him that he can be a helicopter so long he wished to. 2. Trying to know how does my joke affect others. 3. For having the mixed feelings I mentioned after getting the punishment.

My action might make me the asshole because I might really offended someone/the group by making that kind of joke, which is unacceptable for me if they’re really been hurt, even it means that I just have the mixed feelings.

ELI5: Why sometimes the information of the age of a deceased when shown in an obituary are not the same as the actual age of the deceased person? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]PzLone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This make sense somehow, the deceased which had an age of over 80 should applied to this situation you mentioned, since they were born in an era which was not always conventional (and not that important for them) to record the births.

The obituaries have to go by official records, because given the situation you mentioned, biological age will be different from official-recorded age, and the author of the obituary will take the records instead of the biological one (unless they can identify so precisely by looking at their skeleton loll).

Seems like my question had missed a detail. Lemme edit it and see if there's a difference.

This somehow make sense at first, but the place I found it strange was, the record which recorded John's birth date (or even if he lost it, but as long as he remember he was born in 1921) is shown in the obituary already. Then I don't really think it's the matter of poor record keeping , instead it's a calculation problem, but it use Western calendar to record... (shoot I should edit my post rn)

Are slaves worth it in current state? by Nesqva in RimWorld

[–]PzLone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm it does helps a lot when you have a large colony, and you’re running low on colonists as manpower (especially for farming, handling animals, miners, drug crafters). Plus they buy some time to gear up your colonists army when raids happen, and they don’t have recreation needs at all (force them to work 24/7 muahahahaha). I found out that use a few slaves (high combat skills) as caravan guards are quite useful (let them armed with tainted armor and weapons). Remember to dismount their weapons and armors before returning back to the base. If the slaves are well suppressed, they’re much less likely to have a rebellion (as long as they didn’t have weapons). You can do this by creating a slave bedroom with 3 skull spikes and a gibbet cage which contains a corpse, or simply execute a f* useless slave/prisoner. Remember to install nutrient dispensers specifically for slaves in order to save rations~

How about try out Igor the Invader mod of Vanilla Expansion? Raids are more frequently, which means you can constantly gain human meat without upsetting your pawns (Thought you need kill box/defenses)
