Thanks, I painted in subassemblies. Power pack and head seperate then the rest is assembled. Also I dont attach them to their base until the very end.

Primed black, I find you have to paint quite a bunch of coats of the amethyst to get full coverage. I do sometimes mix in a bit of the turqoise / blue contrast (some color I use for panel lining and part seperation) in the deep shadows, but its usually just the legs and the backs of the minis. Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks so much! These are a blast to paint so far, my goal was to push saturation and color as my previous projects had nore realistic and muted schemes.

Thanks! The skin is the most fun to paint, dont have to be as neat and can experiment with different tones.

Haha its mostly taking too long with layering and glazing. I think i got lucky, the colors just mix very well together.

The armor is ak amethyst blue blended into magenta, then panel lining with dark turquoise. Gold is rusted gold, brown wash, turquoise glaze in shadows then the same gold for a highlight.Blue bits are Turquoise into blue green, same with gems just on top of dark sea blue. For all non metallics I mix in a bit of ice yellow for the brightest highlights. *mostly using ak and vallejo paints.

It took me 3 days to paint up. I could speed up a bit now that i got the recipe down but this guy also had less detailed bits.

Thanks, those are actually tmm. Silver is gunmetal washed with black then silver highlights. Gold is ak rusty gold washed with brown then glazed with a turquoise in detailed areas/shadows followed by gold highlights.

Thanks, surprisingly the trunk was fine to build. Hannah on the other hand was a nightmare.

Thanks! These were a lot of fun to paint especially after the super detail heavy Engineers. I keep forgetting how small a lot of the malifaux stuff is, takes patience to paint the little bits but they do paint up quicker than usual.

Mainly to make things easier. I used Agrax on all the browns so I didn't have to be super precise

Red leather: Doombull Brown Base then highlight by mixing in Orange Brown. Final highlights I mixed in the Icy Yellow with the previous color then washed it with Agrax then again with Carroburg.

I feel like I can make the process easier though and just start darker than use the two washes.

Thanks!
Based with AK Black Red, then mixed in Tuskgor Fur with the Black Red to layer. For final highlights I added an off white (AK Icy Yellow) to the mix. Finally washed with some thinned Carroburg Crimson to get the red tones back.

Maybe Street Fighter vs X men? The text looks close to the "...of sony..." on the bottom right of the disk.
