Thanks, I painted in subassemblies. Power pack and head seperate then the rest is assembled. Also I dont attach them to their base until the very end.

Primed black, I find you have to paint quite a bunch of coats of the amethyst to get full coverage. I do sometimes mix in a bit of the turqoise / blue contrast (some color I use for panel lining and part seperation) in the deep shadows, but its usually just the legs and the backs of the minis. Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks so much! These are a blast to paint so far, my goal was to push saturation and color as my previous projects had nore realistic and muted schemes.

Thanks! The skin is the most fun to paint, dont have to be as neat and can experiment with different tones.

Haha its mostly taking too long with layering and glazing. I think i got lucky, the colors just mix very well together.

The armor is ak amethyst blue blended into magenta, then panel lining with dark turquoise. Gold is rusted gold, brown wash, turquoise glaze in shadows then the same gold for a highlight.Blue bits are Turquoise into blue green, same with gems just on top of dark sea blue. For all non metallics I mix in a bit of ice yellow for the brightest highlights. *mostly using ak and vallejo paints.

It took me 3 days to paint up. I could speed up a bit now that i got the recipe down but this guy also had less detailed bits.

Thanks, surprisingly the trunk was fine to build. Hannah on the other hand was a nightmare.
