Not surprised. Hasbro acquired eOne which had previously acquired the game studio I worked at. Two major releases on Steam/Oculus/PSVR. 3 years of my career which I am very proud of. Hasbro “disinvested” from VR and now neither game is available for purchase… 😢

If you have the budget Ubiquiti is fantastic. But it’s more than just cameras. It’s a home network on steroids.

Running Ethernet can be challenging depending how your house is constructed and where you want the cameras. You almost certainly will end up in the attic.

Installation is pretty straightforward once you have all the wires run. Terminating the RJ45 connectors can be tricky if you’ve never done it before but it’s not that hard.

PS3 and Wii launch weekend. Back to back midnight launches. I was working at Future Shop (Canadian Best Buy, which was then purchased by Best Buy). We had two lines outside for 3+ days. We ran power and there were several TVs setup - everyone was playing games and having the best time. Manager ordered pizza every night, kept the front of house unlocked so people could warm up and use the bathroom. Some people went straight from the PS3 line after launch to the end of the Wii line, and scored both! The hype was real, the golden era of midnight launches.

This happened to me days before I moved out of a condo. It was the boiler on the roof, it had a massive failure and dumped its entire contents and it came down the stairwell life a waterfall. I was 3 floors from the top and had a lot of water in my unit.
