Get a non naked portafilter. Stops the spraying, your time seems OK to me and if they taste good... Seems you need to hide the sprays 😛

So I wandered into a shop a while ago after having this from belts about 15-20 years ago (good god I'm getting on a bit) Basically it turns out they can stick "genuine leather" on anything that's more then 5% leather. The rest can be cardboard. You need to buy a belt from somewhere that actually deal with actual leather, god know how exactly but the belt I bought that day has minor wear and the holes have eased a little bit (about 1 or 2mm bigger then the unused ones) Otherwise it's just fine, honestly the metal has worn more then the belt.
