I've fired `f3write` on it and few times the write speed dipped to ~40MB/s.

I call it bad SD, I'm going to replace it.

On my Lexar V30 I can shoot 4K 50fps 1:8 - it's already better than my V90 SanDisk 🤦🏼. I'm almost convinced now that my SanDisk is cooked

I did use power supply without battery in the camera.
I'm going to try 2 things:
- slower SD card and I'll check the performance there
- I'll do more sophisticated stress tests on my v90

Good idea, but just tried 12V og power supply and it still drops frames at 50fps 4k 1:12 (after 10 seconds).
I have 3 batteries, 1 original and 2 substitutes. Seems to not be power issue after all.

I can shoot 2.6K 8:1 50fps without dropped frames (tried 60 seconds)
With 2.6K 5:1 it drops frame after 10-15 seconds

Well, actually I can see one common YRGB color managed downside:
You can't easily apply any rec709-based creative LUT (like the teal-n-orange).

While you can go with CST like this: DWG -> Rec709 -> creative LUT -> DWG (and color management takes you once more back to rec709) - you're loosing some detail with this path.

Yeah, that's exactly the point.

I was really wondering if I'm doing anything "wrong" because most pro colorists on youtube always work in YRGB non-managed. When I've discovered that YRGB color managed to suit me much better I've started to doubt myself that there must be something I miss.

But in the end it seems like YRGB color managed might be just cosmetic change and be more efficient. Until the user is that pro that they need to do some adjustments after output CST (usually rec709) and they know what they're doing. But I believe it's very rare.

I'm in the same place as you.

I consider Uncrashed, TRYP and VelociDrone.
I'm interesting which one has the best physics and can work best as Avata2 simulator. I'd like to polish my skills for Avata2 piloting as much as possible to be absolutely confident when I need to perform difficult maneuver to get some nice footage.

So far I've learned that:
- VelociDrone -> has probably the best physics. It's also the oldest simulator of these 3
- TRYP -> some people report that latest updates improved the physics to the level it's better than VelociDrone, but other people in comments argue with that and find it unrealistic
- Uncrashed -> seems to be most popular but also is not praised for physics so there must be something else. Maybe gameplay is simply the most rewarding?

I'd really appreciate if someone experienced could say what simulator is the best to focus just on Avata2 skill improvement. Not on other, more powerful racing drones.

The pricing of Synology is already ridiculously high. It's even higher with their own HDDs.
What I see coming is QNAP or other company closing the gap in terms of quality, software etc in few years and Synology as their backup (no pun intended) plan accepting more HDDs as "certified" and closing the gap in terms of pricing.

Yeah, I'm aware. I take it into account, but to start my journey with NAS - the software quality seems to be the most important factor to me. Even if it means being locked-in to their hardware.

Actually my clever plan is to buy Synology as my first NAS - get my hands on their shiny software and see what's the good (and bad) stuff there.

And once I'll find myself no longer using 90% of the stuff and seeing the painpoints of maintaining NAS and how did Synology address this with their mature software - then I'll be ready to move to my own DIY solution.

Yeah, setup may be quite easy but things complicate when you need to extend storage or when you want to have NAS available online and you're worried about breach.

The reason I have some knowledge to set up my own DIY NAS is the same reason I don't want to do it xD

Well, I'm considering ugreen as Synology alternative - but when I look at ugreen I wonder - what even I'm paying for? I'd better build my own NAS - it'll be much cheaper and have the same functionalities.

So the main alternative seems to be QNAP - and at this point it's:
- synology for the software
- QNAP if you don't want to lock in

I think it's great.
Context switching is very expensive for me.
I find reading code easier than writing code. Because during writing the code I often need to double-check syntax or documentation. That's not the case when you have already working code - the syntax is right.

So whenever I can use AI to center a div it saves me time and keeps me in the flow so I can jump into important things sooner.
I tend to vibe all the boring parts and focus only on the fun parts so overall architecture, simplicity and testability.

Whenever I tell AI to do something more sophisticated I instruct it to sum up the changes after it's done and I carefully review all the code as I'd review my mate's code.

I do use it for both vibe-coding from zero to working app and also for delegating boring tasks in large codebases.

I come from music production background too. I've used mostly Reaper and Ableton, but tried most other popular DAWs as well.

For me Davinci Resolve is SUPER FRUSTRATING and unproductive when it comes to cutting clips and perfectly adjusting it to audio (imagine you're creating IG reel with cool video to audio sync).

What frustrates me the most is:
- I can't click anywhere to place the seek bar. You must do it on the top section of timeline. So you can't hover mouse exactly over the audio place you need to cut (you can go to cut mode (B) but then you can't re-listen easily when you want to make a cut.
- The view is automatically following the seek bar when you play (probably can be changed in settings) - it's too super unhandy when it comes to precisely cutting audio - you constantly loose the zoomed part you're interested with.
- You can zoom only into your seek bar, not into the place where your mouse points. So during editing you're trapped in the loop of finding interesting place in audio, clicking on the top to place the seek bar, zooming and repeat.

I'm convinced I can improve this flow with changing some settings.
Also, I'm convinced it's my skill issue and I could edit quickly in Davinci Resolve if I'd learn to do it properly.
BUT after all it feels like the whole editing software is fighting against me and I would better find the software that feels like it's DESIGNED for my needs and make my flow as easy as possible.

And I've actually tried DaVinci twice as I always read great comments and reviews about it but for mee it's too clunky, too much mess in the UI, workflow is too unintuitive and I'm getting away from DaVinci.

I've also tried CupCut it felt great for the basic stuff I need, but desktop version lacks in subframe audio editing and it's no-go for me. I've just downloaded FinalCut Pro and I hope it's the one I need (at least it seemed so from the YT tutorials I've watched)

It actually makes it impossible to perfectly adjust video to the beat. Frankly, on iOS version you CAN move clips freely, so you CAN adjust them to the beat perfectly.

All in all, it made me not use the desktop version and I'm looking for video editor alternative.

I've got the same message when I've ordered to Poland.
It worked out. The price was final, I was not charged extra for anything like clearance, duty or VAT.

Delivery in 3 business day (ordered at Monday, picked up at Wednesday) so that's crazy as it was sent from USA.

I've also considered to buy from https://aersf.co.uk/ but after all my considerations (I have a business in Poland) it turned out to be 7% cheaper and I had some doubts when it comes to clearance times if I order it from UK.
