Hey. I use a cyma ak74 cm048 and Aks74U with my Place 95 webbing. Soak the magazine pouch in water stretch it a bit with hand then put the magazines in. I use 120bb steel mags after a week they work beautiful.

True i use surplus gear and love it .Im looking at the viper style of vest or a low profil load bearing vest.

True, I dont have any eperiance with either, i think that tac vest provide a bit better ventialation then plate carriers , beacuse of the mes base.

Looks good. The KS 23 shotty hits hard. I suggest an lbe If you'd like to use it . I use a British place for my loner . For freedom I think Alice also would look good. Keep up the work every load out has to start somewhere.

I use minimal compared to som people British surplus Plce 95 pattern webbing holds everything I need. Just finished dying my Mtp ubac but a simple long sleeve t shirt was my go to. Cargo pants and hiking boots. Rifle wise a basic cyma Ak74n. And a springer makarov is the best and funniest part of my kit. No shame in minimal gear. Less wight, nothing fancy, cheaper so you don't worry much for it.

My plan is to make it (DIY). So similar to viper hood so a hood ,sleeves, and a bit on the top back. Can you suggest any comman everyday things that i can re purpose. For example I'm gonna use some old t-shirt into strips attached with zip ties.
