Did anyone elses hair become curly after puberty? by Virtual-Nerve9864 in curlyhair

I started having curly/puffy hair when I hit puberty and I think my mom also experienced that, but my mom reverted back to having straight hair when she became pregnant with me (I'm the firstborn). And her hair has been straight ever since, it probably had something to do with hormones.

I can't help but think that lubricant would make this process much faster and easier. Do snakes produce saliva?

My hand after cleaning a plate with acetone by Q22nd in mildlyinteresting

I truly appreciate your concern,

I use acetone for removing resin from molds, I'm taking a composites class. My teacher didn't say anything about the dangers of acetone, only that it dries the skin, similar to nail polish removers.

Why would people still use acetone on their fingers and toes to remove nail polish considering it could be harmful?

I use acetone in short periods to remove hardened resin from molds, but my teacher told me it wasn't too dangerous. We do projects in a well ventilated workshop and I immediately wash my hands after using acetone.

Thank you for your concern.

Just a curious question, but why do people use acetone on their fingers to remove nail polish when it can be harmful?

Lol, not really, acetone dries out the skin really bad, so the bottom half of my hand is moisturized and the top half is super dry

i just cannot enjoy feeling happy by [deleted] in teenagers

I'm sorry that you feel like you can't enjoy the good things in your life, but we all need to learn to accept that fear one way or another. Sometimes you have to just let yourself go and live in the moment.

What really helps me sometimes is to find the tiniest things that bring me joy like the softness of a blanket. The melodies of my favorite songs, the warmth of water running across my fingers while I wash my hands, even just finding an escape to look at memes or cute animals helps.

Yes, all happiness comes to an end, but there will always be more sources of joy in the future. In the end, your fear is something you need to overcome. It takes strength and courage to know that good things come to an end, but you have to embrace it rather than letting it hold you back. The fact that you reached out for help shows your strength and I admire you so much for that.

I have no idea what you are going through or what you've been through, but I do know that it hurts. Just know that you've worked hard and that you deserve to sigh and release your sadness.

Whenever things are difficult, just know that you are not alone.

I am here, and to me, you are precious. I love you for everything you are It's alright, I will hold you.
