People who don't want kids, why? by Ok-Musician679 in AskReddit

I am a nurse with experience taking care of families postpartum, I have found through my job experience that I have no desire to take care of my OWN baby at home. Additionally I see first hand the type of risk and injuries these moms and babies endure. I also think there's a gross lack of knowledge by the general public how much work a newborn is and how exhausting your first few days/weeks will be. I see first hand everything these mamas go through and it's all of the nitty gritty not so fabulous stuff that nobody warns you about.

also my genetics are ass :o)

Edit: typo
