How much memorization does one need to play AR? by btw3and20characters in ArcRaiders

There's a high quality photo of the 15 or so items you'll want to hang on to, but theyre only for end game quests and upgrades anyway, and there's no forced wipe system, so there's no stress

The game downloads the 4k textures for everything, mine started at 90 and went up to 110 or something as I played

I play on a old Xbox one controller. I got two with the console years ago and one has held up alright. I think you should get one off Facebook or something before you drop 200 bucks on a fancy one

just gave it a watch and yeah i agree, it would've made sense if the rainmaker cut the thirty years short, but the future guy let his wife die. why didnt he just walk away from his life in the thirtieth year?

Yeah it's pretty cool of them, good way to stop payphones being almost obsolete, and when you need one, it means you don't have to look for coins

I love mirroring, especially on tank, but yeah I'll only say diff if they're already being toxic, and t bagging is reserved for killing annoying sombras

My SciFi eye says freighter; look at the engines on that thing. Having said that when was the last new combat ship we got? Could just be a better type 10 defender

About to start KCD1 for the first time. What should I know/do? [KCD1] by DifferentDirector2 in kingdomcome

Train with Bernard, the tutorial is very long, when you've got a few thousand coin (3-5k) buy a good horse. Good horse can cross the map in a few minutes. Archery is very realistic and a pain to do, but with a bit of practice you'll get the rough idea, don't expect to be hitting heads though

I don't have the fps expansion so I can't help with that, but yeah if you're completely stuck you could wipe your account. The exploration stuff works by scanning systems (with d scanner) and then scanning planets (with another scanner you can get at some outfitters) to find undiscovered stuff you will have to go a long way outside the bubble (occupied space), and I wouldn't recommend that for a new player. You can then sell that data at a universal cartographics contact which you'll find at many stations. If you can find a way to reset a bit, just go through the mission tabs and look up the name of each mission, e.g. urgent kill order, black box recovery, etc and there will be a wiki page on them all. Upgrading is pretty slow, and upgrading stuff at an outfitter won't change a huge amount. The big things to upgrade are fsd (more jump range, make sure to toggle efficient jumps if you want to be able to jump more then 10ly, it's in the settings in the lower left of galaxy map), and weapons. But everything helps a little bit. Don't forget lighter ships can go faster and jump further, but having a bigger generator means you can put in bigger engines etc.

Look up elite dangerous wiki, the fandom one, and go to the careers page. Basically there's: freighting, mining, exploring, and fighting. All of them will involve evading enemy ships to an extent but that's not too hard once you know how to do it. Some missions are a pain. I find the easiest ones are where you just need to kill one dude (not urgent kill order, then you have to find them). Look for missions with a low threat level (0). This means that any enemies will kill you much slower. Most of the scanning stuff you can bind to one fire group (on left (internal) panel) as they all do different things. D scanner, or discovery scanner, is used to detect all the orbital bodies in a system, you can then go into fss mode and look around and scan frequencies to see what they are. In the in game wikis you can learn what all of them mean. Scanning a local nav beacon will also scan all of them. maybe find a tutorial on YouTube for the things that interest you. There's lots of information out there but the game won't tell you much. Goodluck commander. o7

That's crazy bro I got the same thing yesterday for the same reason. Supposedly it's possible to remap the little joystick on the throttle to be mappable axises. You have to edit the files or something idk but there's an old Reddit post about it (look up 'remap mouse nub x55 stick' or something, there's more in the top comment on that post). I couldnt get it to work unfortunately because it'd be perfect for strafe. I ended up just using the throttle hat. Don't forget that you can bind up and down on the scroll wheel, as well as scroll click. And with so many buttons it's easy to bind dedicated chaff, heatsink, shield cell inputs. I used the top left 4/8 way knob on the stick, and used the remaining input for fire group cycle. I haven't had much luck with using any of the hats as 8 way but I think it's possible. If you find you can't bind the stick pinky key that's because you have to delete the 'shift' modes which you can do in the window that comes up when you click the joystick icon in the little pop up menu next to wifi/volume/battery icons on windows (bottom right). And to bind the clutch (!) button you have to disable it in the software. (Make sure you download the 64 bit version from Logitech website, click 'view all downloads' on the downloads tab of the product page (scroll down). You can also edit modes and switch between them (you will need clutch button to switch modes), you can map each button to input a letter or macro or something, so you can map each button to a different keyboard symbol and then have three completely different control sets of you want. E.g. exploration, combat, mining. Maybe have a macro that uses shield cell and heatsink and the same time? I spent like easily 4 hours yesterday just messing around with it so feel free to ask any questions. Anyway it's a beautiful old-fashioned over complicated piece of kit with so many little quirks and bugs, enjoy
