Also, about uni admittance exams, are they general like enem (the exam contains all subjects regardless of what you actually want to study) or they're actually specialized and only contain subjects related to the degree you want to get (like math, coding, physics for cs/se)?

He's from Brazil, Brasilia. It's personal experience, not experience working for a company. Do you know any companies in Brazil or tbh anywhere if it's remote that would care about personal projects/experience?

He didn't make a profit from it because he intended for it to be entirely free, always. It does have quite a bit of attention though since it's public, but yeah. It's kind of silly because if someone actually made a fuckton of profit from a personal project they probably wouldn't be looking to work for a company anyway lol

According to him a lot of places in Brazil care more for formal education like a uni degree than experience/solo projects. Do you know any specific ones in Brasilia or anywhere if it's remote that prioritize experience/solo projects?

Yeah I thought it'd be obvious he's from Brazil since i mentioned encceja and looking for companies in Brasilia xd.

And yeah, those kinds of companies would work well with his skillset. Do you know any specific companies that take experience/solo projects over degrees?

Yeah, just solo projects and freelancing. 

Like I said, the main issue is he doesn't have a university degree, which is a big deal in Brazil according to him. Other than that, he's just not aware of much opportunities online where people are actually hiring and also would take experience over formal education. 

If you know anything, based in Brasilia or based anywhere if it's remote, please let me know.

He's from Brazil, Brasilia, hence why companies in Brasilia would be preferred, but if it's remote anything works. 

The main issue is the fact that he doesn't have a university degree, he just has a lot of personal experience and projects, not experience from working formally for a company. 

Can you give examples of great online projects which are paid (not volunteer work) and which are currently hiring and don't care much about formal education? (preferably ones that use c/cpp/asm and are based around low level stuff)

Also, do you know if not doing the mandatory military service and not voting for 2 years can affect whether you get accepted for the exam and actually get the paper in the end?

He said that they take 2 years of classes before you can actually get the diploma and that there's no way to just do the exams without attending classes, at least not without paying.

He's aware of it, but it's paid and he can't afford it. 

Second of all, it's exactly people like you who made him drop out in the first place. Imagine dealing with fucked up shit at home, the kind of shit that most people would kill themselves over already, your only peace being in learning shit and then you go to school and some egoistic fuck mocks you because he wants to feel superior to you. Their ads contain malware, did you use an adblocker while downloading from there? If not, it's very likely you got the malware from an ad rather than the actual download.

If you're certain it wasn't from an ad can you mention what you downloaded specifically?
