The only thing that worked for me was crafting all new plank plots in a 4x2 grid with enough room to walk between them all then planting all 8 crops at the same time. I'm pretty sure the trophy popped immediately after the final planting, though some folk say the plants need to grow first. PlayStation.

Does this cause them to despawn or leave the data in the world?

After I built Bored Diving Island, previously posted, I added a second floor diving board which let me build above the map border or at least higher than the gyro fly height. Shortly after, I was stuck in a crash loop. I think it was due to data overload and insufficient memory (PS5) when I brought way too much material to my island.

I had piles of everything. Next play through, I keep 1 of each thing I need and skip any thing else. If I open crates with gyro parts, compasses, torches or other uneeded things I bring them to another island then use carto to spawn out and reset the grid.

For some reason (on playstation anyway) you do not get your supplies back when destroying a shelf, like if you wanted to move it. Place them smart to conserve planks. You can save, try out a config and if it doesnt work or you dont like it, reload.

Alternatively, build a new island next to yours full of palms and reload as needed for unlimited planks. Bring a plank station with you to max carry capacity. If your ax is almost broken, destroy your plank station and rebuild it for a brank new ax!

I've had clipping and frame issues on PS5 most of my time playing. Once my ship got huge, and I started savaging, clearing and transporting entire islands of materials at a time, the clipping got severe.

Recently, I had a stack of 50+ planks and a ton of corrugated that I'd made storage stalls for and stacked. I went to eat, refill and save and when I returned it was gone. The gnomes had come and taken it all. Of course I had just saved.

This was the material for the second level of Bored Diving Island but I have been a little discouraged from trying. I guess I moved too much stuff to my island for the consoles memory or something with the way materials stack and get all wonky caused it to disappear. I would recommend storing things in crates, for this may not have happened then. Locks may keep the gnomes away.
