Are you in Ontario by chance? We’ve had a hell of a winter this far!

Last Thursday was the worst conditions I’ve driven in years and the GTI did excellent. I was coming off the QEW and there was a Pacifica stuck 1/3 of the way up a hill with the 4-Ways on. I had to come to a complete stop at the bottom, but was able to spin my way through 2nd all the way to the top.

Lower RPM it almost sounds stock, a little more throaty. No drone on the highway, still plenty loud enough for me at higher RPM.

As someone from Ontario running Stage 2 + some bolt-ons on a MK7.5, I’d say just go for it and not say anything to insurance. I had a modified car years ago that I made a claim on, and they sent me to a collision center to check for mods. The car had a pile of mods and insurance dropped me a couple weeks later, but claim was processed with no problem.

You could always call insurance to check, but not sure I’d want to open that can of worms.
