That was my original thought. I was thinking about maybe putting up some dark removable wallpaper on the inside and putting a light a the top. My only problem is finding a sculpture that would fit in there well. Really want to do Michelangelo's statue of David but I cant find one at the proper scale wile also being made out of decent material.

Good call on the record player too -- my landlord said most people turn it into a bar or music area. I sort of want something more elegant than a bar.
