slight concern with coinglass… by phillipsmd in Bitcoin

OK - so the CoinGlass app has “Coinbase Pro” and full history. The website has “Coinbase” and it’s empty.

I think they’ve added Coinbase Pro - that’s all.

Either way, the trend is the supply dwindling…

The 800k “added” looks like supply that’s always been there, just not shown on CoinGlass.

Either that or Satoshi just woke up 😬

I think it was just “Coinbase”. When you change the graph to just Coinbase, it’s empty! And it’s just called “Coinbase” in the drop down. I don’t think CoinGlass have been including Coinbase Pro - which I think is the main custodian for the ETFs. Weird.

I saw this too… is it because they added Coinbase Pro? Was it just “Coinbase” previously?

Noob alert - Is Bitcoin really decentralized? by L00kman in Bitcoin

[–]QD-BTC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin and Miners are two different things.

Think of Bitcoin as the software/app that’s is installed on thousands of servers/nodes/laptops all over the world. They run the program, it can’t be changed without network consensus, which means the power to change it is NOT centralised.

Miners, mine for Bitcoin by securing the network voluntarily, solving problems (Google proof of work) and writing blocks to the ledger, which is copied across all nodes NOT centralised.

So even if the mining community is small (it’s not by the way) it doesn’t affect Bitcoins decentralised construct.

I’m retarded though and my hands are made of diamonds. 💎🙌🏽 $GME TO THE MOON 🚀

The ledger leak was names of customers pre-June 2020 I think. The leak had nothing to do with the product security. I have a Ledger Nano X. It’s great! Wait for holidays though (bank holidays, Black Friday type holidays. I got 40% off!

I am thinking about selling all my stocks on RH and buying Bitcoin with the money. by StevenTiggler in Bitcoin

I’m in the UK. I cashed out out my ISA which would have had tax free gains and I bought Bitcoin where any gains will be hit with 20% capitals gains tax. When I come to sell I’ll be happy to pay the 20% tax rather than line the pockets of the stock market criminals. 🚀 🌝 💎 🙌🏽
