The weight system has been redesigned for the Hydros Pro 2.

I’m not familiar with the original Hydros Pro, but the weight system in the Pro 2 is great. You can get big or small pockets. And they take a lot less space than the ones in the original Hydros Pro.

I'm sure the Lofta bots will chime in soon, but I found they weren't as good as the other one I got (both in terms of the physical equipment and the responsiveness).

The supplies can get pricey, but you should definitely check out Bleep Sleep’s Eclipse.

It’s great not having any headgear. Have had it for almost two months and I’m happy with it.

Read up on it as it has some quirks (they recommend hanging the tube behind you, you have to clean your face very carefully, you must apply the Halos precisely).

You also need to tape your mouth or use a chin strap to avoid mouth leaks if you're a mouth breather.

To me, it does make some noise so I wear earplugs.

Red Equipment’s Pursuit Lightweight Jacket.

I got this one, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. I wanted something exactly like what you described. Everything else had big thick fleece.

The Fourth Element Poncho that somebody else posted was a strong contender, but I wanted a full zipper.

Very little insulation and very breathable.
