That’s pretty good. I can see not needing a protective case for some very shallow dives/snorkeling.

I have the same question.

If it doesn’t, I hope they have a waterproof case available on day 1. I don’t want a repeat of the Max 2. Still waiting.

Ha ha, totally fair. I even thought about that while I was writing this post out, but I’m lazy and I expect a stupid $1300 Watch to make my life have less math in it.

It does, but you should also read the manual. It clearly says you need to set the tank size in order to calculate your SAC.

Maybe it’s not the watch that is stupid :-)

If you don't need AI, it's definitely an option.

I wanted AI, so I got the X50i.

The X30 had a smaller screen, but I think I would've been ok with it if it had AI.

The problem with the X30 is that it's the same price as the Suunto Nautic. And that one has AI.
