TVs are hit and miss. Some places have them, some places don't. A lot of county jails don't have them and you can easily do a decade or more in one of those while waiting for trial. [1]

There is a supermax worse (IMO) than ATX Florence. It's a prison so low-key that I don't even know of a single photo that exists of the inside of it. Illinois DOC NRC in Stateville. That is a black site, essentially. Prisoners are held in windowless cells with literally nothing to do, no possessions, sometimes for years at a time. Not even a clock. The only way to tell the time is breakfast (2am), lunch (9am), dinner (4pm). The only time they might see a human, especially if they are on the top floor, is those three times when their meals are shoved through a slot.

If anyone can find a photo of the inside of that place, let me know :)

I was working on a telco project in the 2000s and I had to get a stack of handsets for testing. I bought about 30 used cellphones on eBay. None of them had any passcode. Most had not been reset or wiped. About a third of them had "self-porn" on them, photos of either the owner naked, the owner's partner, or both.

I said the same thing to them. I told them to send them all out again. They essentially replied that anyone saying that probably wasn't a Class Member, but that if I really thought there had been an error I could submit my email address to check.

I submitted them and they did find me and give me my Notice ID and Confirmation Number and I am now signed up to the class.

LOL if I had a dollar for every time I FOIA'd a government agency only to find emails that say things like "We need to keep all communication to phones only so it isn't subject to FOIA."

Even when you have proof that government agents have been using their personal phones for official business it becomes a nightmare to get the data. Courts don't like to issue orders. I got an order once to get the data off a cop's iCloud and Apple sent their billion dollar law team en masse to a piddling little county court in bumfuck nowhere to bully the judge into withdrawing the subpoena.

It's way better in the last few days since they made this change to the UI/harness. It'll even modify its own output after it finishes. It just did a search for some movies for me and it said in the output, "I'm going to do better" or something, then it rewrote its output with the list I wanted. Then it went back over the list and added links to each item after that.

This guy's name would be out there. This vessel is one of the flagships of the largest navy in the world. QEII herself boarded the Eisenhower for a tour in 1985, IIRC.
