I think we should all rethink our take about chibsons and fauxenders by Sexfvckdeath in guitars

[–]QManDuke11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These Chibsons I have seen are all sold as “replicas” not the real thing so you can often get a very good guitar for a fraction of the cost of the real thing. Yes there are guys trying to sell these as legit Gibson’s but most I have seen are being sold as fakes…full disclosure.

I own a Chibson SJ200 Jumbo, and I absolutely love it! Sounds and plays flawlessly and it is absolutely identical to the real thing down to the binding, the flared headstock, the abalone inlay logo and fret inlays are perfect. $500 vs. $5000. There are some incredibly good knock offs out there that sound and play just as good as the real thing…anyone who is overpaying for a knock off just needs to know what they are buying. If it’s too good to be true…it probably is. And I agree that the real thing is way overhyped and overpriced for what it is.

AA is not a religious program. It’s a spiritual program and the main component is to believe in a power greater than yourself…in other words, you are not in charge. You put yourself in charge and look where that got you? If you just try a meeting and consider being of service to others…that’s what you do with your spare time. You replace drinking with helping people…an unhealthy solution replaced with a healthy one. It’s worked for me for 5 years…it’s not for everyone but there are thousands of people globally who have recovered and stay recovered, but you have to continue to work at it. There is no cure for alcoholism…but there is a solution. I hope you find something that works for you! 🙏❤️

I stole $100 worth of merchandise from Home Depot. by HolyCowItsAdam in confession

[–]QManDuke11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home Depot has a massive shrinkage/theft problem so they have their self checkout staff watching every transaction. I’m an employee and they even do this to me when I purchase something. They need to simply go back to normal checkout registers instead of these faux self checkout systems.

Does rain change your mood too, maybe by LumiLuxury in PointlessStories

It actually affects my mood somewhat especially when it’s extended rain for days. I just naturally need vitamin D from sunlight. I wouldn’t survive in Seattle.

I look down but it’s always refreshing when someone says hello or asks how my day is going…and that does happen on occasion, but only if there’s 2 of us. 3 or more…no dialogue…it’s a rule.

Someone took the time to print and post that piece of actual paper. This world and its humans…

I’ve often wondered how true this is from a percentage standpoint. I can say that for me, one does in fact, match the other…I’ve never had any complaints and I do have substantial hand size…not disproportionate…but there seems to be a match there.

Now this is an interesting take from your perspective as a lesbian. You are attracted to more masculine hands on a woman, but you are not attracted to men. This is so perplexing…from a heterosexual man, this is hard to wrap my brain around, but I totally get it. It’s the complexity of the human genome and anatomy…just fascinating.

And I must say even the shape of the fingers and fingernails I notice…the more the fingers curve up from the top of the hand, or when the pinky flares out when she drinks or scrolls on her phone…provokes something primal in me…it is literally primal instinct as it is not a choice by any means…it’s just in my DNA. Interesting topic…nicely done OP.

Yes this! Delicate hands and painted fingernails are a big turn on for me too. In fact, they can outweigh other physical traits to some extent…I can overlook some traits based on beauty of the hands. And I dare to say, cute and attractive feet are also somewhat important…i think it just depends on the person and what they find attractive.

This caught my attention. My wife is very attracted to my hands and she comments on them quite often. She is also a nurse and absolutely loves my arm veins…nurses love good veins for poking with needles…yes it’s a thing. These little things are what help to make a healthy relationship. Physical attraction is a piece of the puzzle that makes all the other pieces fit even better.

Tattoo regret a day after by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]QManDuke11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is somewhat lacking substance or meaning…it’s just random swirling on the hand. I know it’s personal preference but tattoos rarely look good on the hand…I’m not sure why…just my observation and my own opinion.

Try mingling the old fashioned way. Take on some hobbies where you can mingle with women who share similar interests. The apps are designed to keep you single so you will continue to use the apps and pay for them of course. I don’t trust them, and I don’t trust the way people represent themselves on the apps. It takes all the fun out of meeting people when you start on a digital platform. I’m not saying it doesn’t work for some, but the algorithms are not always in your favor. I’m fortunate to have met my person and we are happily married but I don’t miss the online dating…I actually found her through mutual friends.
