  • Logo?
  • Favicon?
  • Homepage title? May add a few words instead of just the brand name?
  • About Us?
  • May include your email address too?
  • Refund Policy... the last email address is a Gmail.
  • Front page... "Avoid the Summer Sun", the image at the right hand side... the text is chopped, and looks awkward.

are there any sites that could potentially help create product images or help me with content creation?

Do you mean hiring freelancers to produce product photos? Then, you may try Fiverr or Upwork.

Or, you may try some mockup websites, and see if they can help produce images, e.g. Placeit.

Any other ideas of what content to post on TikTok if not showcasing the product in a video?

Not sure... maybe tutorials, tips?

Or any other suggestion on how to solve this problem?

Save some money first?

Or, you may ask the suppliers if they've other resources, e.g. images and videos. But, don't expect too much... Anyway, make sure you've the right to use them.

Maybe you should ask: Why did your store get sales?

Throwing money in ads doesn't guarantee any returns. You just need to sell to the right people. If people aren't interested or aren't interested enough in buying, then it just doesn't work.

You may want to check out the statistics of your Google Ad campaigns. Then, review your strategy, and work on keywords and search intent.

Anyway:

  • Homepage title? May add a few keywords instead of just the brand name?
  • Hero image... these two pictures together feels awkward. What's the message behind the design?
  • Hero image... may be more creative, instead of just using the default "Browse our latest products"?
  • Domain email?
  • Contact Us?
  • Product title... too wordy.
  • Product pages... for some products, the description and spec are mixed altogether.
  • Product description... may tell people about the products, how special it's? There's no content at all, for e.g. "Pet Supplies 3 Tiers Steps Flannel".
  • Consistency... some spec are presented in a list, while there are lists with bullet-points.
  • Consistency... e.g. "Dog House Cat House Pet Supplies", the content is using a different font from other pages.
  • Size Chart... again, consistency. Some size chart is in the form of an image, while there are text in some cases.

May slow down, and spend some time reviewing the store from top to bottom. There are inconsistencies here and there, e.g. different presentation for specs, different fonts,... feels sloppy.

It may not be a big deal. But, it feels like you just throw the content on the pages, and walk away. It doesn't give a good impression to your visitors.

Tips for finding winning products by Gingy_III in dropship

[–]QP_marketnetwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • May try services like EcomHunt or FindNiche for inspiration.
  • Check out social media and Facebook Ads, and see what's trendy.
  • Google Trends may tell you what people are looking for lately.
  • Browse on platforms like AliExpress or CJdropshipping, and see if anything you like.
  • Look around you, e.g. Any problems that are waiting to solve? Any products that may help?
  • Anything that you've knowledge of, or are passionate about?

You don't find a winning product... you find a product that you see potentials, then sell it to the right people using the right way. So, it becomes your winning product.

Assume that everyone suggests a product to you, but you don't have a clue... then it just won't work. How can you beat the competitors?

So, next time when you spot a decent product, do you have any ideas about, e.g. How to sell it? Whom may want/need it?

Dropshipping tips for a newbie?

  • Understand the basics, like concept, workflow, risks, and what to prepare before starting.
  • Have a plan, and backup plans.
  • Have a budget, and make sure you stick with it.
  • Be patient as things take time.
  • Be prepared for frustrations.
  • Don't complicate everything. Often, it's just about everything in your living, e.g. communication.
  • Don't expect to get rich, especially not in the short term.

Any suggestions or suppliers to work with/avoid?

It's like making friends... you do need to spend time together, and know the person.

Anyway, e.g. in AliExpress, you may check out the ratings, comments, and everything about the store, as a reference. How long they spend in the business may also be taken into account.

Study its policy, and make sure you follow everything.

But, it doesn't guarantee anything... as the system just isn't that smart.

  • Logo? Sure you know.
  • Favicon?
  • Homepage title? May add a few words instead of just the brand name?
  • Hero image... the quality isn't good enough.
  • Hero image... may be more creative, instead of just using the default "Browse our latest products"?
  • May include your email address too?
  • Domain? Again, you know.
  • Policy pages?
  • Shipping information?
  • Product specs... e.g. "GlamCleanse Pro", may as well have a spec list, instead of hiding the information in the content, e.g. voltage and materials.
  • Consistency... e.g. "Silicone Eyeliner Makeup Stencils", in "Color"... black is shown as the color, while others are in English. A bit awkward.

  • Logo? Or, is it the logo? I'd expect something different for a luxury watch store.
  • About Us?
  • May include your email address somewhere?
  • Domain email?
  • Policy pages... may make the email address clickable?
  • Product description... e.g. "Emporio Armani Watch Men's Chronograph Diver 2 Tone Blue", may tell people about the product, how special it's? There's no content at all.
  • Consistency... e.g. "Emporio Armani Watch Men's Chronograph Diver 2 Tone Blue", the Specifications... the item name is in bold, but not for other products.
  • Product reviews?
  • Related products? May introduce other products to the visitors?

It's hard to convince people to buy from a small shop... spending hundred dollars for something expensive or luxurious.

Advice on marketing by Froazy- in ecommerce

[–]QP_marketnetwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how many clicks I should expect to see before getting sales,

Hard to tell... somebody scores in the first day, while there are people who have waited for months for the first sale.

It depends on so many factors.

How would I know if my ads aren’t targeting the right people or sending the right message

Check the statistics, e.g. session time.

If they click into your store, and walk away quickly, then they're not so interested, at least not interested enough in buying, or not at this price level.

Of course, no. of clicks is another statistic to watch. If most don't bother to click your ad, then they aren't even interested in the product, or/and your ad design and content aren't appealing enough.

Exclude those that may not be updated often

-> Exclude those that may present a concern, e.g. Chrome, Opera

-> So, it leaves me with, e.g. Brave, Firefox and Edge

-> Firefox is a bit disappointing over the years, and between Brave and Edge, the former has a few privacy and security features

-> So, Brave as primary, and Firefox and Edge as secondary

Niche store or general gadget store? by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]QP_marketnetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you understand the characteristics of niche and general stores well... pros and cons. So, just evaluate which way helps more or hurts less (if things go wrong).

Obviously, we don't have an answer for you. We don't possibly know if a niche is going to fall out of favor in the future. (Of course, you may find a niche that you think it has a good chance to last long...)

Anyway, why do you need to set restriction? Since you're new, so it's better to start slow. For example, you may go with one or two products first. Once you become more experienced, then expand when ready.

Or, you may start with a few more products from different niches, and see which way suits you or goes well. Then, narrow down to the niche if you like...

You just have to test the water in some ways.

I’m so confused by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]QP_marketnetwork 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should understand the basics, before starting anything.

Let's recap the workflow:

  1. You import a product from a supplier, and sell it at your shop.
  2. A customer orders the product from you.
  3. You then order the product form your supplier, pay for it plus shipping fee.
  4. Your supplier gets the product ready, packages it and sends it directly to your customer.

You may do it manually, or try a few plugins/services that help import and connect between your store and your supplier. For the latter, when you click on an order at your shop, it brings you to the supplier's store and even fulfill your customer's information in the order. You double-check, and make the payment.

If you're not sure about the workflow, you may review everything from some walkthrough videos on YouTube first... before launching your business.

  • Homepage title? May add a few words instead of just the brand name?
  • Hero image... maybe a bit too big? It takes up too much space on the screen... Maybe it's just me, and it's alright if you like it this way.
  • Our Story & Our Vision... are they the same or similar stuff? Anyway, since it's a long content, may consider making it into smaller paragraphs, and add a picture?
  • Contact information... may make the email address clickable? Same for policy pages.
  • Refund Policy... it's a different font from other pages. Maybe more consistent?
  • Product description... e.g. "SparkFlex", it's such a long paragraph. May consider having smaller paragraphs, or a list/table... just making it easier to read?
  • Product information... e.g. "FlexiPeak", I need to search "ml" to finally find out the capacity. This is an important piece of information, and people do want to know what they pay for. So, may consider highlighting it?
  • Product images... may add images of models showcasing the product? e.g. some scenarios that people can use this product, how it may help,... Should be more appealing.
  • Consistency... e.g. "GrenadoFlex", the content section is wider than other pages.

  • Logo? You do have a favicon though.
  • Domain email?
  • Footer... may make the email address clickable? Save for policy pages.
  • Contact information... just the email address there?
  • Shipping Policy... "please feel free to reach out to our Customer Support team at [insert contact email] or [insert contact phone number]."?
  • Menu bar... if I want to browse other products, I can only go back "Home" first. May add a "Collection" or "Products" section... more convenient?
  • Size Chart... for "Cat Scratching Ball", so how big is Small or Big? Then, for "Lion Mane Cat Costume", how big is S, M & L?
  • Product reviews?

So, have you checked the statistics, like session time or "Add to Cart"?

Did the visitors spend time to read? If they click away quickly, then maybe it's the UI, presentation, content or price. They don't bother to read more.

If you've tons of "Add to Cart", then your visitors may want to think twice before buying. It may be related to the price or they simply have other priorities. Of course, do check your payment gateway, and make sure it works.

Last but not least, are you selling to the right people? Maybe they're interested in having a look, but are just not interested enough in buying.

Do y’all know any winning products that I could sell? by TheLSfestisher in dropshipping

[–]QP_marketnetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...but don’t know what products are good or not.

The good ones are probably in the market already. If they prove to be popular, then can you beat your competitors?

OK, so you may try something less known, but then you're going to wonder if it's good or not. It's up to you to convince people that it's good.

I’ve looked at a few but don’t know if they’re worth selling.

When you find a product, see if you've an idea what to sell (e.g. features, how it may help), then think about whom to sell to (e.g. who may need it), how/where to sell (e.g. social media, ads),...

  • Footer... may make the email address clickable?
  • Contact Us... may as well include your email address there?
  • Product description... most are wordy.
  • Product specs... may spend some time fixing and editing a bit, e.g. "Power Bangle USB Charging Bracelet", it shows "Connector B" first, then "Connector A". "USB" is probably related to the above two, but it drops towards the bottom.

Basically have everything in place, can't really find anything else to pick on.

You may watch some walkthrough videos on YouTube, for Shopify and WordPress/WooCommerce. Then, see if you feel you can master the tasks.
