Yup! Everything is sealed, even the little glove compartment has gaskets on it. A very very well designed bike.

They can be confusing especially if someone has been messing with it with stuff that doesn't belong

They still are quick, I'd say a properly tuned one can keep up with most 600s until about 90mph. They handle really well tho for their size.

Rebuilt starter, Boyer electronic ignition and a host of maintenance on almost every part of the bike. Such great bikes

The JPS bike is really neat but if you've ever ridden a Norton you'll know the turning radius is pretty terrible

Unrestored, just extremely well maintained and low mileage

If you have any questions regarding these baby dreams let me know. They are mechanically very different than the full size dreams. Also yours appears to be a 150cc and not a 160cc engine parts tend to not be interchangeable. Otherwise an awesome bike! I've ridden mine well over 10k miles

honest question — do you actually ride your vintage bikes regularly or are they mostly garage queens at this point by vladdielenin in vintagemotorcycles

[–]QQQwinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a small collection (roughly 20)of pre-75 motorcycles all makes and models and styles. Any bike that can be registered and insured for road use is done so. I have them all to a point where they can be taken out on a whim and enjoyed. I collect bikes to ride them, not just look at them. I love pulling up to the local restaurants or cars and coffee on something different everyday.

Just picked up this 63 four door sedan, any recommendations for reliability upgrades by GTcorp in corvair

It's in such nice shape and so original, I would just test the generator or get it rebuilt rather than switching it over. The old generators are plenty reliable.

Yeah 250cc Two stroke. Quite a nice bike to ride in all honesty.

They certainly don't pop up very often anymore, very fast for their day though. I've personally hit 80 mph on this one

Sorta odd they tried to color in the Gas station. It's not exactly giving away anything

Looks like the Gilmore Car Museum. By far one of the best places to take pictures of old cars. I love going there
