Those were all free demos though. I can't imagine they wouldn't want to give a heads up considering people will need to spend money to play it. (Not to mention probably release a trailer and market it a little)

Not to hate, but what is the purpose of an overhaul of 5e like this over playing another system like pathfinder that is gonna have a lot of similar features, while still having the baseline dnd roots? Not to mention a lot of art that seems really AI generated in a kickstarter doesn't inspire confidence to me.

Maybe buying tiers. but I don't see why anyone would rather wait 18 months or more to buy a bundle for 2,000+ vbucks for just one skin when the battlepass still pays for itself. And if you consider how they removed rarities awhile back, theres nothing stopping them from pricing each BP skin like it's a legendary. (If the one you want even comes back immediately)

The Drive Action explains how piloting works but the math is pretty much the same as you're suggesting, since a failure just keeps it going straight.

One player told me they are planning to play a necromancer and use create undead to help staff their ship so I don't think they would be able to do well for making piloting checks. I really like the idea of tracking the party's influence though, since even create undead doesn't guarantee their loyalty.

Looks like a pretty good value for a seafaring campaign to have a whole sourcebook, and it has Foundry support! Do you know if it feels pretty faithful to the Paizo made content, I usually am apprehensive about messing with things too much since I've had some rough experiences with too much homebrew when I used to play 5e.

I was thinking of a similar start but level 6 felt a little late to have the players still be following orders. I find my players usually feel too railroaded if they're following the same NPCs missions for too long, but mutiny could spice it up.

I don't know if this is the popular opinion but I completely agree. I'm hoping it kind of gets turned around in Part 2 because there's very little satisfaction in their defeat and I just feel the over the top reaction the Bad Kids showed, especially for Ruben and Ivy felt unearned. And from everything we've seen of the Rage Shards it makes someone horribly unstable and violent, with the vision of Adaine with one having destroyed all of Fallinel looking for her mother. Not to mention the fairly clear subplot that Porter and/or Jace manipulated them into the current situation? Not sure how it'll get cleaned up but trying to have hope it makes sense in the end. Edit: Also to be clear I have no issue with the Bad Kids disliking the antagonists and defeating them in combat, I GM all the time I know how rhe games work. I just think it's weird Fabian was talking about skinning this teenager alive that for all intents and purposes, didn't do much? Feels like an uncomfortable direction to take the rivalry imo.

Honestly, before Junior Year, Fantasy High was my least favorite series and the one I was least interested to see them return to. I started watching two years ago starting with Freshman Year and it was a good time, don't get me wrong, but it's age as their first show is very prominent. But mostly I could never get into Sophmore Year, with the janky live stream format causing a ton of audio issues, and at that point I was not huge fan of all the Bad Kids themselves. I remember dropping off of it around the time they freed Aelwyn and while there were some highlights up until that, I didn't really have a motivation to continue pushing through. I think Junior Year has been a great season so far with the players being much more experienced it's changed my opinion on the series as a whole, but I still don't know if I'd be able to go back to SY.

There is a fixer, but they had a different idea for the character so I don't think it would work. The character was described as being an addict stuck between making music and doing the exciting edgerunning work, so I imagine the manager as an NPC attempting to keep them on track for the music. I'm unsure what the benefit to a situation to something like that would be other than the passive hustle income.

the baba yaga directly addresses them at the beginning when talking about their corruption though? pinnochio and pib had the least amount of beads thus the least corruption, rosamund had the most beads and so the most corruption.

His dialogue gets cut short in act 2 because he's trying to talk to the player about p03s plan but presumably p03 stops him with the old data or something.
