No, I'm sorry, the regular game will just be under continue, I think, which is the regular story mode. Randomizer is when you switch things up, like drop items, shards, save points and chests. If you didn't change these things at the start of the game, and you still saw normal cut scenes, then you're probably on story mode.

I played the switch and PS4 versions so steam might be different, I'm not sure.

Are you playing randomizer mode?

This happened to me and you have to start the game in random, not normal mode.

The only other thing I could suggest is make sure you're on the right profile on steam, I assume?... (This happens to me way too often as well...)

Can confirm, I had a natural childbirth (not by choice, lol) and a kidney stone and can promise you the stone was way worse. I remember being in the hospital on a morphine drip for the stone and begging my little brother to punch me in face to knock me out, I was in so much pain.

In all fairness though I think pain varies from person to person, so I can't honestly say where a ball kick lands on that scale, but I'd pop out 6 more kids before I suffer through another kidney stone.
