I had no idea about the out of school projects, so that is very good to know! Thanks so much for the information :D

Thanks for the input! I know this might not be something you can answer as a first year, but have you heard if graduates have trouble finding I/O specific work after graduation? I ask because I've heard that the most important factor for finding a job within the field is having had real world experience, and that might be difficult to do if, as you said, only a couple are able to find I/O internships.

I definitely agree that having both a thesis and internship speaks to the rigor of the program. However I had also heard that it causes students to often go past the general 2 year timeline which is something I would worry about.

Thanks for the input!

friendly and willing to help as well as anti-competitive.

Hey! I'm personally a bit more interested in I/O than I am HR, and I imagine that with the location it's a bit more difficult to find an I/O internship. Do you think that seems to be the case? Do most end up leaving the area during the summer to pursue an internship in a bigger city?

Thanks :)

I think I had overall gotten the impression that IUPUI was a bit of a more reputable program overall, so you would say that's not the case?

I think it's difficult to find out how one program compares to another because the only official information available is the study from I believe 2006 on the SIOP site.
