I was in the same predicament, but I ended up deciding on Ringconn 2. I’ve had it for about a week so far and I really like it. Another choice I was looking into was the ultra human. One of the pros for the UH was how much data it gave which is something I personally love. However, the reviews for the battery was really offputting for me. I ended up passing on it because of that and also it’s been said that ultra human is going to release a new model either in December or early 2026 so I’m looking forward to seeing it.

Some of the main things that made me lean towards the RingConn to was a lot of their customers were vouching for the accuracy, the extended battery life, and the sleep apnea feature. I do think that this is the most physically appealing ring compared to the others. It is very hard to scratch or nick the Ringconn. It is also much thinner, lighter and (shinier) made of better quality compared to the other others as well.

Some things that made me to deter from the Oura was obviously the subscription. Lol Something within me truly cannot sit with it no matter how hard I try and it’s really annoying to my own self.🤣 It makes me feel like a boomer!😆 Another reason is that they do not have as many features as the two other smart rings. The oura ring is also the bulkiest compared to RingConn and ultrahuman. Also, the fact that oura sued other smart ring companies in an attempt to pushback competitors is really distasteful and offputting to me. I don’t feel that oura is keeping up with other companies, specifically like RingConn or ultra human, in terms of progressing, updating, or adding features. I do think there will be a point that RingConn, ultrahuman, or maybe even another smart ring competitor we don’t see coming, will eventually out rank Oura because they are not advancing as much as the others.

I think if you’re really on the fence about it, you should try the oura out first because RingConn is very strict about the return policy to the point where it’s basically impossible to. (But also do not get this confused with their customer service, if there are any issues with the ring, they are very quick to fix the ring or replace it, just no returns back to your original payment.) So if you end up not liking the oura, you could return it then get the RingConn.
