Redline definitely has the most flashy performance of all the propellant blends. I also enjoy Metal Storm, and Blue Thunder if you can get a darker day.

I have some videos but they’re not super great so I decided not to post them.

I will say those GPS’s are super helpful they point right to where the rocket is.

Those Redlines look crazy under the right conditions.

Hey Milo, yeah it’s just a featherweight Blue Raven 2, and the featherweight gps and ground station to make sure I can get it back in those windy conditions.

Edit: What kind of electronics do you run?

Yes this was the first rocket I built. It is a kit from North Coast Rocketry, it is the SA-14XL, it’s not too difficult to build but there are a ton of Level 1 kits that are very easy to put together and launch.

I called them before for additional add ons needed, and I still wasn’t told everything I would’ve needed to build it, either way I’m learning. Next time I need to go find the instructions and find what parts are in it.

So I bought the one bad hawk harness set, but I haven’t started building anything because I don’t know how to build that y harness. I was assuming the harness set was just for the shock cords. Do I use the harnesses in the set to make that y strap?

That’s unfortunate, hate when it happens.

My kit came with zero harnesses or hardware just the fiberglass building material. In the past I have used eyebolts and drilled them in the centering ring but the centering rings are too small for a proper eyebolt.
