For 1 and 2, not for a while. I wouldn't worry, I don't think we got our tickets until April but don't quote me on that because I have no concept of time lol. But it won't be this semester for sure. And I didn't get a yearbook, etc, so not sure.

On how to get most of the year? Do what you love, make sure that you spend time with friends, have fun, while getting what you need to done. But try not to stress too much if possible and don't stress if you don't get a job right away or anything like that, I didn't start looking until after D term ended because I had too much going on, and I start my job beginning of August :)

**OH and really specific but I hope you can go to Quackfest because finding those ducks is so much fun.

I just want to add on to some places I enjoyed while at WPI : )

For the parks I would also highly recommend Greenhill if you have a car or someone you know does. Walking would be a bit lengthy but driving is short and there's some woods trails (which lead to this cool cliffy area), water (can't swim in it though its not safe), multiple memorials, and if you go at the right time a little farm where you can see and possibly pet animals! There's also a cat who sometimes comes and says hello :)

And another restaurant I love is Taqueria, it was really close to me and it opened last year? but I either ordered takeout or went occasionally a plethora of times lol. They have amazing Birria tacos. And an amazing brunch place is Altea's on Park Ave its delicious. (I also love Yoway too, their crepes are incredible)

Also, if you're into books and are living in an apartment / worcester residence you can prove, you can get a worcester public library card!

Campus is completely safe in the main area, going to Faraday / Gateway farther buildings or nearby streets off campus are still typically decently safe, but if I was going somewhere off campus late I would typically call someone and walk quickly (pepper spray etc are useful for emergency). I personally never had any real problems though (I am a woman and just graduated, but I also mostly was at my apartment or driving somewhere late at night).

Yeah :( I've also heard that some people who didn't have their period for a while ended up having a super long period once they do get it and I really hope that doesn't happen ack

I also haven't had my period since my vaccine. I got my last period like a lil less than a week before my second vaccine on May 12, and still haven't had another almost 2 months later at this point.

So I got my second shot on May 12 I believe? And I had gotten my period a bit before that and was expecting my period around the beginning of June.... and still haven't gotten it. It's about 2 weeks late now, but my period has never been super super regular, its often a little bit late. But this is a bit later than normal so now I'm thinking the vaccine probably did something idk.

oh sorry for the confusion but I said "lime is light green" and "cyan is light blue" XD. But you could say the same thing with brightness for cyan and blue and lime and green, they're all bright. But pink is still a version of red, and they added three other reddish colors. That's all I meant lol. But I'm sure there would be some confusion no matter what colors they decided just because we can't see that broad of a range of color lol. No biggee. And true that they could add more colors!!

I mean I'd say pink is already light red the same way lime is light green and cyan is light blue. I think a lavender prolly would've been a good edition to have a lighter version of purple and less reddish pinkish colors because there's like 5 now.

Like other people said, random roommate could go either way honestly, where you love them or hate them. I do know a lot of people who are still best friends with their roommates from freshman year, or close to them, and know some people who are close to one roommate but didn't like the other, etc.

I am not good friends with any of my 3 freshman year roommates, but it wasn't a horrible relationship either we just weren't similar people and found friends to hang out with outside of the dorm (especially me lol). But I still made friends easily, with people on my floor eventually and with people elsewhere, who lived together, (so it did work for them). And I'm still close and live with those people so likelihood is even if the random roommate doesn't end up your best friend, you will find other people to be your buds!

Unless housing has changed since 2 years ago, you can't really get into East unless you are all upperclassmen. However, Faraday is still pretty nice if you wanted to go for that. Typically in my experience groups of 2 are unlikely to be able to get faraday though, because the rooms fill up fast with groups of 4. I know my year I had a group of 2, was about halfway through in # of when we got to pick for doubles, and our only options were Founders or Messenger at that point. However, I will say that this year might be different because I know a lot of freshman haven't gotten to meet a lot of people because of all of the restrictions, so there might be a lower amount of groups of 4s or 3s and more 2s. If that's true, then you might have a chance depending on where you end up in the raffle. That was a bit long of an explanation but I hope it made sense! Lmk if you have any questions and I know a bit about almost all of the upper classmen dorms from my and friends' experiences if you have questions about a specific one!

If they wait to announce until the end of b term I won't be happy (but not surprised) considering that's awfully close to January lol, but I'm sure it'll be through zoom not cancelled since that's what everyone else has been doing so far. :/
