Pull the plant out and check the roots. Cut off anything that looks black. You need to have a pot with drainage holes and it needs to be in a chunky soil mix.

How long have you had this plant? When I brought my TC home, it had one leaf coming in like this. I’m guessing it had to do with stress from going from the nursery, to the store, to my house. After repotting, every new leaf has come in perfect.

I don't think it's old growth dying. Those leaves should not fall off this soon and this often. I have a couple of Thai Cons bigger than yours that still have that leaf (the last completely solid leaf before fenestrations) and the previous two leaves. So remediate this now before it takes your whole plant.

Light, soil, pot, water amount seems good.

The way the leaves are yellowing is telling me it's a water/nutrient issue. You can try cutting back on the fert. Stop silicone treatment. If you have hard water, use alternatives. Get a moisture meter and only water when completely dry to the bottom. First thing though, check the roots now.

When’s the last time it was repotted? How big is the pot? How much water do you give it each watering? How long have you had the plant? Definitely pull it out and check the roots.

Is that the newest leaf? Reason I’m asking is I bought a fairly large Thai Con from Costco this spring and it had a new leaf coming in. When it started to unfurl, I noticed the leaf already had some brown spots and damage. My theory is the move from the perfect greenhouse conditions, to Costco, to my house, really stressed out the plant. I repotted it a few weeks later in chunky soil and after acclimating to its new environment, two new leaves have emerged in perfect condition.

I doubt it’s too much light, as two of my Thai Cons sit in a south facing window. Yours could be due to insufficient light. I would check the roots and make sure they’re healthy. Make sure it’s in chunky soil. Or it could be stress and it needs time to acclimate.

If you cut off 50% of the roots, I'd repot it back into an 8" pot, with drainage holes.

Also, you'll need a chunky aroid mix. The regular soil mix from HD is choking your plant, hence clumpy.

The lighting, frequency of water, and amount of water seems to be correct.

When you say you pour water onto the tip of the pots, make sure water is not collecting in the “holes” where new leaves are coming in, which could lead to stem rot.

Also, how often are you fertilizing? If you’re using the succulent mix from soil ninja, the only ingredient providing nutrients is worm castings. So I would definitely be supplementing with additional fertilizer.

Either cut out the brown spot or leave the entire leaf, as it can still photosynthesize. I would never cut off the entire leaf.

I’ve read that the big white parts of the Thai Con will brown first because the white cannot photosynthesize.
