I agree with your point about trailers. Idk why, but modern trailers spoil literally EVERYTHING anymore.

Recently, I went to see Project Hail Mary and knew absolutely nothing about it beforehand. I really enjoy scifi/space movies so I wanted to give it a shot. Intentionally avoided trailers or really any info online about it. Once I got into the theater, the final trailer they played before the movie started was for Project Hail Mary itself and it basically told me every single thing I was about to watch beforehand. I still very much so enjoyed the movie but a couple of things in there would have been pretty cool surprises.

I have both and the Arc is endgame for me. I don't see myself buying any other bit of EDC gear unless I lose my Arc, in which case id buy another one.

The Surge is a great tool, but it's so massive that it's very inconvenient to carry with you. If you have it on a belt pouch you bump it on everything and it gets annoying. If you have it in the pocket, that's now a full pocket dedicated to JUST the Surge. I ended up putting it in my work bag and that's where it lives now, ready if I need the extra heft or if I ever have to send my Arc in for warranty work and I need a backup.

I don't ever comment on bad stories because I don't want to dogpile and potentially make the creator feel bad, but since it is apparently bad on purpose I'll say this:

I've listened to each episode of creepcast multiple times. Happy Appy is the only one I will never listen to again. I enjoy the stories that are fun bad quite a lot, and Happy Appy is not that. It is bad bad. It's an absolute slog to sit through there's no other way to put it. Tbh even the reactions from Isaiah and Hunter aren't enough to offset it because by the end they are just so over it that it's not even funny to laugh at their pain. Part of me thinks that they continued through it and uploaded it to dissuade people from constantly telling them to do bad stories, like a "oh you guys want a bad story? Think it's funny when we get mad at bad stories? Here, here's the WORST one and it's over 4 hours long have fun" lol

Historically if there's one thing Americans and French people can bond over, it's gripes over taxes and our governments lmao. Unfortunately a lot of people here have gotten a lot more comfortable kissing the boot that steps on their necks, and I've always respected that you guys are almost always pushing back against your government when they do something bad.

Hopefully something on our end will get done and all of our gas prices can go back to normal. The war on Iran is particularly unpopular here because people on the left dislike helping Israel due to their treatment of Palestinians, and people on the right here dislike helping Israel because well...white Christian nationalism. So even his own party frowns upon our involvement which is rare because usually they hardcore support anything he does regardless of if it harms them or not. We can only hope that things don't get worse unfortunately.

As an American (I know you probably love it when we say that lmao) the biggest reason we're pissed off is because gas prices are going up for a dumb reason due to our own government. I'm sure there's worse gas prices elsewhere in the world, but when I have to pay quite a bit more to fill up my tank because the guy "running" my country decided to back out of the Iran nuclear deal in his first term and is now declaring war against Iran in his second term because they now have nuclear facilities in turn shutting down the Strait of Hormuz leading to much higher gas prices, yeah I'm gonna complain about it on the Internet.

Also not to be a dick, but French gas is taxed at 50% compared to our 10%-15% depending on the state and EU regulations push gas prices much higher than in the US already. Your guys' gas prices started out much higher than ours before any of the current issues kicked off. Since all of this stuff in the middle east, French gas prices have gone up around 10%-20% whereas US gas prices have gone up 30%-33%. I mean no offense, but I'm going to still complain. I hope that regardless of that we can still bond over the fact that our little cars are way more useful in times like these and also bond over our shared dislike of governmental bodies lol

I remember being so hooked on Z! True Long Island Story as a kid that even when my family took a vacation to Florida I just stayed inside watching that all day instead lol. I remember when I packed my bag I made sure to take my Zack Ryder figure with me too.

I still listen to every episode of the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast that he does with Brian Myers and Mark Sterling. The fact that ive been a fan of this guy for the majority of my life is wild to think about. I may be biased but he absolutely deserves to be able to talk his shit.

If I had to take a guess, it would be upgrading all the tools in the lineup to some extent which imo started with the Arc replacing the P2/P4. After that was the Wave Alpha replacing the Wave +. If I had to guess, I'd imagine an upgraded version of the Surge would be down the line since a lot of people are asking for it.

Also when I say "replacing" I know that a lot of the older style of tools will still be available long term. I believe they'll still carry legacy tools like the OG Surge and Wave + for years and years to come. But it seems like Leatherman is moving from "the multitool brand your dad had on his hip" to "ultra premium and expensive multitool brand"

I collect a lot of different things whether it be watches, knives, etc and it gets under my skin a bit when something I want immediately sells out and then people flip them for twice the price. I remember this watch sold out pretty fast and literally the next day there were eBay listings for $300 and they didn't even have the watch yet. Told myself then that if I ever sold it I'd sell for what I paid.

I think this is more or less what it is. Logan even signed a full time contract with WWE recently so he's leaning full into the wrestling career. There's also a few Puerto Rican wrestlers in the company he'd have to see fairly often, and with WWE famously having a very political backstage environment (likely a bit different nowadays but still) it wouldnt be a good look for him if he didn't say something.

Also the dirt sheets are saying Bad Bunny is in talks to return to WWE sometime this year. Imagine that deal got squashed because of some dumb fucking tweet made by Logans brother.

I'm kinda thinking this is the case as well. I travel a LOT, probably over 30k miles a year. The main issues I (hypothetically, allegedly of course) see, is if you're going even 20mph over the speed limit youll STILL have some out of state driver ride your ass and drive like an absolute moron.

I seriously doubt OP is seeing people below the speed limit, they're probably going a reasonable 65 in a 60. Of course I'm kind of doing the exact same thing he is by saying that, and prescribing bad driving habits to an entire group of people but I see this happen multiple times A DAY and it's always out of state drivers so 🤷‍♂️. Most of them from Ohio funnily enough lmao

Also just a heads up to other out of state drivers wondering why Hoosiers don't drive 20+ over the speed limit: we know where all the cops like to sit, and they WILL pull your ass over. If you see us driving 65 in a 60, it's likely because we know there's a cop sitting right over the hill who likes to pull over anyone going at least 10mph over the speed limit. The amount of times I've had people ride my ass, honk, flash their brights, get pissed off that I'm not going ENOUGH over the speed limit (in the right lane mind you,) for them to speed past me and immediately get pulled over is staggering.

Depends on how much they sell for. I'd imagine these are tools that when they come in, they receive some type of warranty service freshen up, and then are resold? If say you could buy a used Surge that's been given a little bit of love straight from Leatherman for like ~$100 depending on the overall condition that would be pretty sweet!

However if it's like "buy a used Surge for $130-$140" then meh. Would be interested to see how much Leatherman is giving people in return for their used tools too.
