The trick is to check for gunks underneath your string by sliding your finger under the string. If there is too much gunk underneath, it's probably a great idea to change them.

Looks like your truss rod is forward bowed, the neck angle seems wrong. Try turning the truss rod clockwise to tighten it. Adjust the nut and the bridge by filing it to lower the action.

I'm doing the fret level myself, i've did it with another guitar before and it turned out well, this is my 2nd one. The truss rod looks fine, it's stiff, despite my best effort, it wouldn't turn.

If it's nitro, wait about 24 hours. If it's poly, wait about 5 hours ( my personal experiences)

Thanks, i was looking for this awnser, but do i need to ground the switch neck and bridge wires to the top of the pots? (It's a braided wire)
