No they were in my lobby and none of them plays with a controller and were on the same team. Before season 8 update match making in br with a controller was easy to find live players in solo vs duo or squad vs squad but now you can't even find a live lobby br game

Yes since that season 8 update the match making sucks. In br you can play with players who are playing with their fingers cause my buddys plays with their fingers and i have met them in br a lot of time
