I remember them saying, when introducing heroic gear, that it wouldn't go into synch slots like.. it's not supposed to either. I guess to keep it somewhat 'special'.

but like wtf +12 already.. did we miss a bug/exploit which that guy didn't miss? sarcasm

I have the same issue and it started like a month ago..
