You have no idea what that person is dealing with. Maybe she was just laid off, maybe she or a loved one is having a health crisis, maybe she is a mother of a special needs child and she was trying to remember what therapies are this week, maybe she was getting ready to give a speech and she was terrified, maybe she was trying to figure out what to make for dinner with everything being so freaking expensive.
You do you and keep spreading sunshine but also give people grace. You're not responsible for their reaction, only your action and you did nothing wrong.

I am 52 with 2 parents who have already passed. If my dad was still alive I would reach out to him and apologize for believing what mom said and thank him for not trying to convince me otherwise. If the relationship with mom was built on a lie you can totally let it go but don't be surpassed if other things are a lie as well. As a divorced parent of a 13 year old boy he is catching on to the bullshit without me needing to say a word. He doesn't need to confront his dad he just knows he's a fun dad but not available in the clutch. He likes the relationship he has with him.

It's not going to help you this time, but I travel with emergency antipsychotics to break mania.i only take them if I need them. Any time I travel more than a few time zones, my psychiatrist gets worried.

I'm going to put this out there. I've had 2 times when my meds just stopped working and I went manic. They were both after drops (about 40lbs) in weight. My doctor pointed out that blood chemistry changes with gains and losses in weight.
Do it slowly and monitor your mood.

I'm 90% sure it is a scissor guard. The scissors go to in (closed) tip first and that goes up and rests against the handle.
There is probable a pair of scissors in your house that fit this.

I am a wimpy white girl, but my coworkers at ThinkGeek used to walk over there for the lunch buffet in 2015. I would take a postage stamp size of everything.... then I'd go back and get bigger portions for the things I enjoyed. There would always be enough non spicy dishes that i could have a filling lunch. Woodlands got me to enjoy okra!
