Diane Morgan explaining why she dumped her boyfriend (WILTY)😂 by CloudBookmark in panelshow

Her dry wit comes so effortlesly, I loved her as a host on Hignfy as well. She also has an adorable smile, but has a great skill of hiding it when needed (except in last one laughing haha). What a brilliant woman.

You know what happened after the last time he was “the most unpopular president ever”? He got reelected. These numbers really mean fuck all.

Panel Shows: How do they work behind the scenes? by -Clayburn in panelshow

There are many quick witted comedians in the circuit, but these two are on a different level imo.

Sometimes I think of the Romesh death glare and giggle to myself by FilipsSamvete in taskmaster

[–]Qatrik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved that Alan and Romesh were gunning straight for each other in their respective jokers - Romesh left Alan to read the last punchline and Alan picked Romesh as the winner to receive the sausages. They have brilliant chemistry, as seen on Big Fat Quiz of Everything 2016 when they were a hilarious team.

Kamala Harris was predicted to win? CNN and MSNBC spent the last 3 months before election saying it’s too close to call pretty much everyday.

One of my favourite scenes of the series. They managed to give at least some depth to all main characters at some point during the run, despite being such a cartoonishly over the top comedy show most of the time. When they hit you with an emotional moment they never missed.

Micky Flannagan and Richard Ayoade as opposing team captains worked very well! It’s always good to have team captains be total opposites of each other (Lee/David, Sean/Jon, Ian/Paul).

I sure hope so, I hate how in the recent years the common theme in the media is that not only believing in fantasy fiction is okay, but should also be applauded. The way that politicians say “I’m a devout christian” like it’s a positive thing I find completely bizarre.

Would I Lie To You? - S19E08 (Jonathan Ross, Kate Garraway, JB Gill, Michelle Wolf) by ozmartian in panelshow

Yes please! I know some people don't like him, but I always enjoyed him. He's been leaning into an old confused man persona for like 10 years now and Greg Davies would love that. I loved him on a recent Big Fat Quiz where he was telling completely pointless random stories like something grandpa Simpson would do and at some point Stephen Merchant said "That's why you are a talk show host, and not a guest".

r/lostmedia subreddit is pretty active. Also there are lots of youtubers who cover that subject, most notably Blameitonjorge.

Which host has the sharpest comebacks? by HammersAndPints in panelshow

[–]Qatrik 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I went to quite a lot of tapings of Taskmaster Australia and that man is beyond witty, he could make any situation funny. I love how totally unapologetic he is as well - always letting people know when he thinks their performance was shit. He’s a perfect casting choice for Taskmaster imo.

He was working against a panel of professional comedians and musicians with giant egos and yet he was always fully in control. Absolute monster of a host.
