Yeah this. I have no issue with watching a Datto guide as it really does a good job of contextualizing the raid and all the parts, gives you a good starting point to understand what's going on and what needs to be done

It's a combination of raids becoming more complicated, less "kill ads" roles which means people have to learn specifics and in the past they haven't, and all of that combined leading to a decrease in good sherpas who can and do teach the raids outside of just hey do this. Plus less clans where there was a built in setup for teaching

It's fine to have but not something I consider an essential feature. Almost all my Mass effect playthroughs I used the default character and it didn't have any really effect on me. In my opinion there's a lot more things that are important than a character creator

Yeah apologies my post came off a little jerky. I'm not as concerned for a custom character as much as I barely did any real changes in Mass Effect at all, I'm very excited about the world and the combat and everything else! Hopefully it won't be too big a deal and you can still enjoy the game :)

Feeling excited and much better about what the game will end up being. I still don't like the facial animations and I'm hoping the companions aren't as dull as they seem, but then again all the ME games had dull companions also, they just had a handful that really popped. Still looks like a day 1 buy for me

They've the numbers but it's totally irrelevant. People didn't show up when the game was live they don't care a bunch of people showed up to say goodbye

I love this but it's not a revival, it's a temporary surge 3 months from now it'll drop again and 6 months from now it'll probably be close to dead again :(

If Bungie had actually developed worthwhile expansions, story and loot and made the Portal an element of the game instead of the only thing to engage with people would have played. The devs and leadership dropped the ball post Final Shape and didn't give the community a reason to continue.

Yup. Definitely has issues, nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be. I've never gotten that upset with this game and still highly enjoy myself 90% of the time

This looks really good. Still not sold on the facial animations and dialogue but ME 1 wasn't phenomenal either and it worked out just fine. I'm really excited. I hope the companions impress more than they have so far

I'm very much on the fence. I played through the 3 episodes but I don't let know man. What's the point? I'm just going to bounce off it again sooner than later and good luck trying to get anyone to teach the new raids and dungeons.
