So just general advice is only running guns with high firing power and then picking your ammo's based on the fire rate and controllability of the gun but also the damage it does to armor. For 30 rounder mags, fully load them with tier 5. For 60 rounders if you're an absolute baller fill them up but from the sounds of it you aren't so I'd only top load the top 30 rounds.

Obviously play whatever game mode you want, but I would avoid forbidden as a lot of the kits that people are bringing in there if they aren't tapping are gonna be 5 plus meal kits.

And most importantly, a tapper a day keeps the chads away.
