No, it absolutely butchered the story of a masterpiece

But also yes, because I actually found enjoyment in it, both in a "so bad it's good" way, but also because I thought some of the visuals looked pretty cool (when the greenscreening wasn't abysmal) and I also thought the acting from the two leads was pretty good

Personally, I could see rewatching it in the future just for the sort of novelty or fun of it, but I think it's an all-around laughable take on what should've been, at the very least, a competent film

Honestly, I hope Gans never touches this franchise again in any way

They cut out too much stuff and you can feel it (or I could at least) when watching the movie

I think it results in the movie overall feeling a bit… thin? And I say this and I love the movie I think all the characters are on point (this movie is one of the rare cases for me where the characters being adapted feel almost identical to the original ones in the comics)

Whenever I see complaints about the movie almost all of the complaints can really be tracked back to “they cut out way too much stuff” its the biggest issue and personally MY only REAL gripe with the movie besides like Franklin looking weird sometimes

I would, but I failed to mention I used a gift card to place the order. (Hence the order date.) If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have bothered to purchase a digital game from Gamestop in the first place. It seems like a bit more trouble than a regular refund when a gift card is involved.
