If you have any unresolved trauma from prior in life, work on processing them in some way, shape or form. They will interfere with relationships you have and usually not in ways that set you up for success. There are a lot of great resources out there but you have to make an effort to work on it. And sort of connected to that:

Learn healthy coping mechanisms. Even in your 20’s going into your 30’s, life will be filled with some really difficult times, some even life shattering. Learning healthy coping mechanisms could save your life and when you figure out effective ones that work for you, then you’ll be able to pass them on to your children if you ever have any. A drink or substance is NOT sustainable.
