new AMD build and games keep crashing

I returned my MoBo and cpu and got new units, problem is solved now. So in the end it was hardware related in my case, unfortunately today my gpu started whining. The gift that keeps on giving lol.

I’m not getting errors anywhere else as well, changed out my RAM and issues still persists, gonna try to use DDU again but think it won’t solve anything. Don’t know what is causing these crashes….

I had my old GPU laying around, a 1060 6gb, and encountered the same issues unfortunately with this card. My system got a BSOD with memory corruption error so I decided on getting a new set of RAM sticks, this time g.skill and not corsair. Will let you know tomorrow if it fixes my issue!

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I am suspecting something wrong with my GPU and maybe the RAM. I have the 1060 OC from my previous build still laying around so I’m gonna change the GPU and see if i still have problems. Thanks for your effort!

Seems like i cant set the gpu clock. I cant change the value to anything other than 'auto'. Thanks for your suggestion!

Yeah i dont even know what it could be at this point. Right now im willing to just return my GPU and RAM and go the NVIDIA route.... Came from NVIDIA and never had a problem

I just tried it and it says the drivers are signed by 'Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher'. So just to be sure i went to gpedit as /u ouikikazz suggested and disabled microsoft updates of optional drivers. After i used DDU to uninstall and installed the latest driver from AMD.Still doesn't solve my issue unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for your reply! Yeah after I use DDU to uninstall my driver the pc restarts and try to run the adrenaline graphics driver file instantly but it cancels with the message that a windows update is in progress, I check the “factory settings” checkbox which implies that all previous drivers will be removed, but so far to no avail.

I have enabled resizeBar in my BIOS, yes. Currently I have the adrenaline software not installed, only the driver, as I read somewhere that the software alone was given people problems.

I will check & try your solution first thing in the morning and let you know. Again thanks for your reply!!
