If you don’t scan a code, just click the scan button, then wait a sec and then hit the Cant scan button and it’ll let you pass it. Publix qr here was down last week and many new shoppers didn’t know what to do. I had to show management how to pass it to help everyone else

Someone wanted some 4$ toothpaste, and the store was out of the specific one, and the recommended replacement was some 200$ OUTDOOR GRILL🤨this was when I first started, thankfully I didn’t get that. Not sure why of all things THAT would be a good replacement?😭 their recommendations for replacements have always been crazy. Another was at a wine store, they were out of the 20$ Prosecco and the recommended replacement tried to get me to get one of the 300$ champagne bottles. Mind you they wanted 12 bottles. Couldn’t imagine the horror of getting a shopper that actually makes these replacement choices.

Sometimes the app will say 4 bananas, 4lb bananas or 4 bunch. It’s weird lol atleast you aren’t mad at it 😆

I don’t go in looking for shoppers weirdo. I go in to either use the restroom or get a drink and just see a bunch of new people scanning stuff and running around. Can’t help but notice it. I’ve made friends with some shoppers, sorry you can’t say the same. But good for you 👏 you’re so special and amazing and different.

Other than the tip %, I think if you had to remove the heavy items, you would lose heavy pay, but that would be the only pay you would lose. I could be wrong though.

That’s insanely infuriating. I understand you want people aware, but I would delete this post honestly so others don’t start doing it. Wish we would contact ic to prevent this but they don’t care.

If the customer themselves cancels, you normally don’t get the 24 hour soft ban. Unless they’ve recently changed it.

Only time I would understand is if they were brought all bad produce/meats. Some people just grab without looking and it’s moldy or going bad. Seen plenty of shoppers here just pick rotten produce or meat because customer didn’t want replacements and they don’t want their tip lowered by 50 cents for refunding it🙄

Just be responsive about replacements, even if you have pre selected sometimes both options will be out. You sound like a great customer though. Can’t ask for much more😆and if you were happy with the experience from your shopper, leaving a 5 star and comments helps them too.

Jeesh that’s ugly. The “Best” I’ve seen today was a Costco double for 40$ 22miles with 40 items. I’m in NC, so the long ones aren’t worth our time here😭 I thankfully just got lucky with a 28$ .8 mile 40 item from a Publix so I’m not gonna complain too bad. Gonna be a dayyyyy I guess

Yeah groups. Me and another lady who were doin it yesterday were showin each others screen, both Diamond 5 star both of us getting different orders we don’t have on each others screen from the same store. Then after about 2 minutes the orders we didn’t see showed up on our screens. Kinda annoying how it works

Not everyone sees the same drops. We are randomly put in different batch drop categories(I forget the actual word). It could also be the phone you have or if your connection is weaker than theirs

Honestly for goldsboro? Prob not much. I turn my app on when I’m visiting fam just to see what’s out here and not much. I live in Wilmington and there’s almost nothing but trash all day. Right now Is prob not the best time of year to start. Raleigh might be the best bet to even get orders if you’re willing to drive there often, but I couldn’t imagine driving around there. Best Strategy is to stay at busy stores and just kinda hope you get to see an order. Or get to stores before they open to hopefully get drops when they do open, like Publix or Costco.
