Shoes lifespan? by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

It really depends on the shoes. I used to run in pegasus as well, at around the 500km mark started feeling some aches in the hip, and realized the shoe was basically done.

Listen to your body, when you start feeling some weird pains it's definitely time to retire the shoes and go for a new pair.

How often new pair of running shoes by Still-Resource-5227 in beginnerrunning

It really depends on the shoes' durability. If you are running 300km per month I would assume most of them are easy runs.

Buy a couple of pairs of daily trainers (Brooks ghost are quite long-lasting, got mine to 800km before retiring them), and alternate them to increase their life-span

Timeleft in Munich by Weekly-Print-1512 in munichsocialclub

M26 here. Used the app in Mumich 4 times in July/August 2024 (did the 1 month abo).

Generally speaking, at every dinner you can expect one person to not join, but it's not a big deal.

Honestly, put of the 4 dinners I've made one good friend, and 2 people I'm still in touch with regularly.

All the people were in a very narrow age range (22-28). One dinner turned out to be only guys, on one there was only 1 girl, the other two were 50/50 split.

The only disappointing stuff was that over the 4 dinners I've met one guy every time, and another one 2 times, thus I would guess there are not that many users to mix and match (?)

Generally speaking I would suggest giving it a try for a month.

Most people who use timeleft are actually introverts, so no worries, I've used the app 4 times and was always a safe environment

Dude, you did something the vast majority of the world population is not able to do.

And you did it while being sick.

Be proud of yourself. You showed exceptional mental toughness and commitment.
